Actress and model Coco Austin has been married to her husband, actor and rapper Ice-T, for 20 years now. Fans were excited when the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Chanel, in 2015.
Since then, the couple has shared several photos of their lovely family on social media. However, the most recent one was met with a lot of backlashes. In the picture, her six-year-old was in a stroller, which bothered fans.
Many of them criticized Austin and Ice-T's parenting. Austin clapped back at the comments in defense of her daughter and her family. Keep reading to find out what she said.
Fans Called Out Coco Austin
Austin shared the photo earlier in the week on her Instagram, and it showed the family on a shopping trip in the Bahamas. In the photo, Ice-T and Austin stood in front of a store's mirror with Chanel in a stroller in front of them.
Fans expressed their feelings about the photo in the comments. Some of them asked why Chanel was still in a stroller. "A stroller, really? Let that girl grow up," a user wrote. Another added, "She looks like she's over being in a baby stroller," with a laughing emoji.
"I know she may be your last baby but you have to let her grow up. If anything a wagon is more her age! I have a 6 year old smaller than her and she hasn't been in a stroller in years 😂 I would hate for your sweet baby to get bullied or something," another user wrote.
Some fans came to Austin's defense by saying that it wasn't a big deal. "It is much easier to push a child in a stroller than to carry them around when they get tired. Especially when they are her age, it is harder to carry them alllll over the place," one said.
Coco Austin Responded
On Tuesday, Austin took to Twitter to defend the decision to use a stroller. She called the negative comments "ridiculous" and told fans to mind their own businesses. She noted how tired she was of being criticized every time. Responding to a story on the topic, she wrote, "Oh lord!! Really people? The world loves to criticize literally [sic] everything I do!"

She made a follow-up tweet telling fans to focus on more pressing issues in the world, like the war in Ukraine, and leave her family alone. "This stroller thing trending right now about me using a stroller to push Chanel around is ridiculous! Isn't there a war & mass shootings going on as we speak & you'd rather mess with my mothering? SMH."
As Austin noted in her tweet, this wasn't the first time their fans had criticized her decisions on how she chose to raise her kids.
It Wasn't The First Time
Back in September last year, Austin triggered fans by showing off Chanel's acrylic nail set for her school's picture day. She captioned the post with, "For the special occasion, I let Chanel do mini tips to her nails. I love doing her hair. My little doll baby is what I call her."

While some fans complimented the new look and wrote "always understands the assignment" and "perfect as always," others criticized the acrylic nails. One wrote, "Too young for nails!" While another wrote, "Why she got tips but still breastfeed is she a baby or a young woman?"
This comment was about Austin telling Us Weekly a month ago that she still nurses Chanel. "It's a big bonding moment for a mother and your child," Austin said. "[She] likes a little snack every now and again…Why take that away from her? If she doesn't want it, all right, that's where you stop it. But I'm not just going to say no."
Ice-T Also Clapped Back
Ice-T also responded to the criticisms and defended his family during an interview on The View. On the chat show, he noted that the opinions on the nails and breastfeeding didn't matter to him. "Rule one on the Internet: Do not pay attention to anything anyone says on the Internet."

He added, "Worry about the people that walk up to you and say things in your real life. Those are the people you should be concerned with. The Internet is the world. It's the world talking, so I don't pay attention."
He also told fans to let him and Austin parent the way they wanted to. "Everybody parents differently. Like I say, every house has its own constitution." "We're doing OK, our baby's OK."
