‘Star Wars’ Fans Wish Frank Oz A Happy 78th Birthday!

Puppeteer Frank Oz is officially 78 years old!
The 6’2” actor, filmmaker, and puppeteer was born on May 25, 1944, in Hereford, United Kingdom. He has four children from his two marriages and has won numerous accolades for his work, including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Series.
Oz is the puppeteer behind many of the Muppet characters, including Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, and Sam Eagle. He is also behind Cookie Monster, Bert, and Grover on Sesame Street. That being said, “Star Wars” fans know him for his role as Yoda, both as the puppeteer and providing the voice of Yoda for several Lucasfilm projects.
On Wednesday, fans flocked to social media to wish Oz a happy birthday!
