Emma Heming Willis Admits Struggles With Self Care And Overcaring For Her Family

Emma's skincare brand CocoBaba was borne from her need for helpful products with healthy ingredients during her pregnancy days. She found no effective option at the time, so she relied on coconut oil.

The most challenging part of creating her brand was handing the idea of wanting a pregnancy-safe product over to a formulator ten years ago when she started the company.

She admitted that she was "nervous" about giving the concept to anyone as she was not confident that her products would come out the way she wanted.

As a novice in the business world, she revealed that she felt "underequipped" occasionally, but with her ability to speak up and reach out to friends for help, she was able to learn things.

As "sustainability" is a principal CocoBaba value, Emma stated that the brand sold directly to the customers to simplify everything and focus on being as eco-friendly as possible.

The brand's bestselling product is the CocoBaba Butter Mousse; however, the creator revealed her favorite invention was the Coconut Body Oil, as it worked well for skin hydration and repair.

The industrious businesswoman further shared her skincare routine, saying she took it seriously and enjoyed the "ritual" of her self-care.

Speaking of self-care and her brand's tagline, "everyone deserves to be mothered," Emma said of her struggles in not prioritizing her needs and overcaring for her family.

The dilemma affected her mental and overall health, but she was able to find comfort in exercising as it made her feel good.

The confession led her to suggest, "I think it's important to find that one thing that makes you feel good and build from there."

In addition to her "sustainable" company, family is also an essential part of Emma's life which she had always wanted "for as long as I could remember."

As a mother of two bundles of joy, her favorite part of being their mom was spending time with them as she said that her girls brought lots of laughter, love, and life into their home.

Creating memories has always been a priority for the Willis clan, even though Emma revealed that they had no rituals or traditions. She cherishes every moment with her family, including her husband, as time is valuable.

Before having kids, the beautiful actress wished she was advised to "stop listening to unsolicited advice." She used the medium to counsel mothers-to-be to follow their minds on whatever felt right to them instead of listening to cynics.

She further confessed that the first three months of her first pregnancy were a "blur" as her husband was involved in three back-to-back movies requiring them to travel worldwide.

She concluded her insightful experience: "I learned to breathe and trust the process. In hindsight, that time of our lives was just perfect. It all goes by in a flash, so don't sweat the small stuff."

The CocoBaba Founder Signs Off On Stepdaughter's Message About Her Husband's Health Condition

Emma's loving husband Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia not too long ago, which affected his cognitive abilities, causing him to quit his acting career.

The Blast shared that the veteran actor's daughter, Rumer Willis, confirmed the diagnosis about two months ago with a detailed message signed by the whole family, including Emma and her kids.

The statement showed the clan's appreciation of their fans' affection and support as they navigated the challenging period together.

Rumer wrote that the family wanted to include Bruce's supporters in the picture because of how much the retired star meant to them and vice versa.

She ended the heartfelt message with, "As Bruce always says, "Live it up" and together we plan to do just that."
