The insider revealed that Kelly is having a great time despite the split and "has the best attitude." Although the source didn't share the reason for the breakup, it was insinuated that the problem was with the comedian.

"She is very happy. She'd rather be single than waste her time with the wrong guy," commented the insider.

Noah and Minka first became an item in August 2020. Neither party has ever publicly confirmed or denied the romantic relationship, but a close source revealed to People Magazine at the time, "They're very happy. It's a very serious relationship."

As The Blast reported, the "Daily Show with Trevor Noah" host dropped over $27.5 million for a stunning Bel-Air mansion where he and Kelly were set to live.

The news came as a surprise to many as the comedian has been vocal about his distaste for live-in relationships. During a 2019 appearance on "The Howard Stern" show, the South African native said,

"I’m a big advocate for not living together ever even if you’re married. I think one of the biggest reasons people get divorced and relationships break up is because of this cohabiting bulls*** that we’ve come to believe is the way relationships are supposed to be.”

Not The First Split For The Secretive Couple

It's unsure if Noah's perspective on live-in relationships affected their romance, but months after they moved in together, news broke that the lovebirds were going their separate ways.

The pair split in May 2021 and Noah was seen partying hard in Miami with Steve Aoki and recently broken-up Alex Rodriguez — whose engagement to Jennifer Lopez came to an end.

The 38-year-old was seen living it up and seemed to be having a great time without the "Titans" star. However, just when fans thought it was over for the pair, an unlikely reconciliation happened.

Noah and Kelly who never speak about their relationship in public or on social media, seemingly shared their first Instagram official post.

As we covered, for the "Born A Crime" author's best friend Xolisa Dyeshana's birthday celebration in January 2022, Kelly and Noah made a joint appearance.

Confirming that things were good between them, the 41-year-old actress uploaded a picture of the squad, enjoying the sunset on a boat cruise. She captioned the post, "Take a trip to South Africa. Find friends like these. Have the holiday of a lifetime. Thank you, Mzansi ??❤️."

Noah, on the other hand, posted a different picture of the friend group seated around a dinner table as he wished his good pal a happy birthday in the accompanying caption.

In both images, the now-former couple was seated next to each other. It was the pair's first social media photo together and fans really lost it.

The news of a breakup comes months after Minka opened up about her guest appearance on the HBO hit show, "Euphoria" and how she wasn't comfortable playing a nude scene.

She explained in an interview that upon reading the script, she reached out to the series creator Sam Levinson to rework the naked scene and stood her ground.

The California native explained she was ready to let go of the role because of her longstanding principle not to ever go naked on screen.

"[Levinson] thought it would be more interesting if my dress fell to the ground,” she said. “That was my first day as a guest on this new show, and I just didn’t feel comfortable standing there naked.
