Sarah Jessica Parker Has Still Not Spoken to Chris Noth About Sexual Assault Allegations

Chris Noth's role as Mr. Big in "Sex And The City" was one of the biggest roles of his career. He also reprised this role in the spin-off, "And Just Like That." However, it would appear that the prospect of getting more similar roles has plummeted following the sexual assault accusations that several women brought forward.
According to an outlet, these accusations spanned years and constantly involved threats to the victim if they ever tried to expose him.
Since being publicly exposed, the actor has been fired from several projects. He was booted out from "The Equalizer" and dropped from several endorsements and, even worse, his talent agency, A3 Artists.
In addition, a collaboration with Noth and the "Booze Band Entertainment Arts Research" to acquire his Tequila brand fell through during that incident.
While everyone who had ever worked with the "Sex And The City" actor was shaken following the news of the assault, one person was particularly devastated; Sarah Jessica Parker, Noth's on-screen wife, while on the series.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she opened up about the assault case, adding that she hadn't spoken to her co-star since the allegations came to light. Read on for more details.
Parker Isn't Ready To Talk About Her Former Co-star
During her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she confessed that she wasn't ready to talk about her co-star.
"I don't even know if I am ready to talk about it, but I do not think ... I was not reacting as a producer. I should have worked on this because I am just ... it is just..." she added before she trailed off. She also replied with a simple "No" after being asked if they had been in touch since the sexual allegations stint.
Parker also addressed the spin-off's backlash following Noth's untimely exclusion from the "And Just Like That" finale.
"The burden is not on me because I cannot write, but [showrunner] Michael [Patrick King] knew that," she told the outlet. "[The question was] how do we open that world up? And how do we make it real? We have a great writing room of, once again, all women, but the room is more diverse now. That was not a mandate, no one told us it had to be that way. Michael wanted it that way, and it will continue to evolve."
Parker Was Initially 'Livid' And 'Heartbroken'
Following the allegations of sexual assault against her co-star, an insider shared that she was "livid" and "heartbroken."
"She is fiercely protective of Carrie Bradshaw and livid that she and everyone else at the show has been put into this position," the insider disclosed per Us Weekly. "It is not about the money, but rather her legacy. Carrie was all about helping women and now, under her watch, women are saying that they have been hurt."

The insider said that Parker felt like there had been two deaths, referencing Noth's demise in the spin-off's premiere.
The source added that Parker had no idea about the allegations prior and felt confused as she processed the incident.
"With great power comes great responsibility and although SJP knows this is about him, not her, she feels like she has let everyone down," the source concluded.
Noth Vehemently Denied All The Allegations Levied Against Him In 2021
The actor vehemently denied the allegations of sexual assault on two starstruck women in 2004 and 2015. He claimed that his interactions with each woman were purely consensual.
"The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false," he said, per People.
"These stories could have been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. It is difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I do not know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."
When the third allegation came up, Noth, through his representative, completely denied it, claiming that no incident of such occurred.
"The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction. As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line."
Parker And Her Co-stars Wrote A Statement Which Supported Noth's Victims
After the flux of multiple women who have allegations against Noth, Parker and her "And Just Like That" co-stars, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, took to social media to show their allegiance to the women who spoke up.

"We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth," the Instagram post read. "We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."
