Having played Rebecca Pearson throughout the character's entire life on "This Is Us" has understandably instilled an unbreakable bond between the Pearson matriarch and the woman who brought her to life, Mandy Moore.

Moore has displayed her closeness to Rebecca over the series' six seasons by frequently giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into filming on her social media accounts, and she has never missed an opportunity to praise the series' writers for their outstanding (and tear-inducing) ability to beautifully bring the Pearson's life story to life.

Now that the series is coming to an end, and the finale airs next Tuesday night, Moore is continuing to bring fans along for the ride by sharing her authentic reactions to her character's final days.

What Does Moore Think Of Rebecca's Final Storyline?

Moore hasn't been shy with sharing her exact feelings toward her character's final storylines!

As The Blast previously reported, Moore was so moved by writer Dan Fogelman's scripts for the series' final two episodes to the point of throwing up!

Vomit can be beautiful, according to the actress. She said, "[It was] a beautiful throw up. It was so beautiful and upsetting that that was my physical reaction."

Now that we know that the last two episodes of the series- the penultimate episode aired last night- had the power to inflict the tossing of cookies, Moore wants "This Is Us" fans to "Come in with an open mind," when it comes to watching the Pearson's last days unfold, according to People.

Moore wasn't shy when it came to discussing the complexities of Rebecca's Alzheimer's diagnosis.

"I don't know if there was a way to brace anybody," she said, referring to Fogelman's final storylines about Rebecca's struggle.

"I wasn't braced for it," she added. "I wasn't ready. I had no idea what I was about to read or what we were all going to endeavor to do. I didn't know how Dan [Fogelman] was going to flesh out  the end," she concluded in an interview with Entertainment Weekly as per People.

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow: Saying Goodbye To Rebecca

Moore's heartache over saying goodbye to her signature character has been quite the complex journey.

She recently told The Hollywood Reporter, "It's the end of an era. It's saying goodbye to this woman I've had the pleasure of knowing and inhabiting for the last six years. And the fact that I'll never get to do it again, it's just this weird confluence of gratitude and sadness: it's very bittersweet."

The end of Rebecca's story was also jarring for Moore to read. She was candid when explaining her reaction to Fogelman's plans for her final days.

"I was so blown away by the beauty of this [penultimate] script and Dan's writing," she began, "There is something so almost psychedelic about this idea at the end of our lives to be able to have the opportunity to see different iterations of the people that we love..."

Rebecca Pearson's final days and the aftermath of her passing will round out the last two episodes of the series, with the finale airing next Tuesday, May 24th.
