Queen Elizabeth II Comes Out Of Hiding Amid Ongoing Health Issues!

Queen Elizabeth II is ALIVE & WELL!

The Queen has been suffering from health issues for a good portion of 2022.

She has had to cancel multiple public appearances due to ongoing health issues.

Earlier this week, Her Majesty backed out of a royal engagement on Tuesday, May 10.

Buckingham Palace released a statement on Monday, May 9, which read: “Her Royal Highness continues to experience episodic mobility problems.”

The statement continued, in “consultation with her doctors,” the Queen has “reluctantly decided that she will not attend the State Opening of Parliament tomorrow.”

Her son, Prince Charles, took over her duties.

“At Her Majesty’s request, and with the agreement of the relevant authorities, The Prince of Wales will read The Queen’s speech on Her Majesty’s behalf, with The Duke of Cambridge also in attendance,” it read.

However, things seemingly changed for The Queen as the week went on.

She made a surprise appearance at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Friday, May 13.

Her Royal Highness was photographed grinning ear-to-ear at the show and even held up a trophy cup that her horse Balmoral Leia won.

Balmoral Leia won the Highland Class.

A source told People, “She was in great spirits. People she knows in the horse world were being brought to her to talk to her at the window. You can see she is in really good form.”

The horse show was held near her current residence, Windsor Castle.

England’s longest-reigning monarch had called the Palace her home for most of her record-breaking 70-year reign.

In March, sources revealed that Queen Elizabeth II will be moving out of Buckingham Palace and into Windsor Castle, where she spent most of her time recovering from her COVID-19 diagnosis.

Although the Queen canceled many of her virtual engagements while she was recovering, she continued to perform “light duties” around the Castle, such as reading and responding to letters and official correspondence.

Although Buckingham Palace is due for a “reservicing,” sources say that the Queen would like to spend more time in Windsor Castle, where she spent her last days with her late husband, Prince Philip¸ who passed away last year.

Royal author and deputy lord lieutenant of Berkshire, Hugo Vickers, told the U.K. Times that “Windsor is the place she loves. She has her memories with Prince Philip there. She has her ponies there and her family nearby. It makes sense.”

The Queen first moved to Windsor Castle during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. At the time, it was only believed to be a temporary measure. Unfortunately, Prince Philip died in April 2021, at age 99.

It is now widely believed that Buckingham Palace will remain empty until Prince Charles, 73, takes up the residence when he becomes king. Although Prince Charles prefers his current residence at Clarence House in London, he said that the palace should remain “monarchy HQ” when he ascends to the throne, as per the U.K. Times.
