The US spin-off version of Eurovision took over NBC for eight weeks and gathered contestants from all 50 states including major stars from music the likes of Macy Gray, Michael Bolton, and Sisqo to name a few. With winning the show, instead of a record contract or tons of money that come with shows like The Voice and American Idol. Alexa will instead be offered an opportunity and that is in the form of appearing at the Billboard Music Awards on May 15th and also having the song she performed on the show be put in full rotation on all iHeart radio stations.

But winning a show like this allows the winner to eventually dive into other avenues of entertainment that could include writing books, hosting, and or being on various TV shows and in film projects. And Alexa quickly told us one dream that is on the top of her list.

Alexa shared her wonderful smile and gushed on her future dreams in potentially having the chance to appear in the Tom Holland helmed Spider-Man franchise by saying, "Well, when I was in college I did dabble in musical theater as my major. And in the future, should any acting opportunities arise, I would really like to tryout and audition for them. If I had my say, I would love for it to be in the Marvel franchise but we will see. I just want to be in the Spider-Verse, I want to be Silk, I would love to be Silk."

For those that may be uninformed, Silk is a Korean American superhero that has mostly been in the comics but has also appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War, played by Tiffany Espensen. The character is meant to appear in a few other projects, so if Espensen doesn't continue with the role this could be the opening Alexa would need to be the cherished comic crime fighter in a future project.

And based on her performances on American Song Contest, between her intense dance moves and stunt work, she would be a shoe in to tackle a role like Silk or anything else that may present itself in the Marvel Universe. But while we all wait for that, we still have what we fell in love with her in the first place with her music and she has some major plans coming up for all of that!

While we are all bobbing our heads to her hit, 'Wonderland', Alexa also shared with The Blast EXCLUSIVELY what her sound might end up like in the future on both future singles and albums exclaiming, "Well lets see, when I first debuted, some of my tracks were heavily inspired by Brazilian funk and EDM as well. But I constantly, with my wonderful team and I strive to see what is new and what is innovative in the music industry and the K-pop world itself that the next thing might be a ballad or it also might be a Heavy Metal ballad. Expect the unexpected, that is my motto."

We will most certainly expect the unexpected when it comes to Alexa as that adds to her charm and is a driving force on why she won American Song Contest in the first place. We are eager to see all that she has next both in the Spider-Verse and on stage. Without question, it appears she is ready for the challenge ahead and we are eager to see where it all goes. Being the first winner of a show like this is very important for the shows future and her career. But what we have seen so far, we are more than confident that Alexa will knock it out of the park.
