A new trailer for the highly anticipated season was released last month, and fans were psyched about it. In the trailer, Max Mayfield, played by Sink, was seen mourning the passing of Billy Hargrove, who was murdered in season 3 by the Mind Flayer. It also showed the actress at Hargrove's gravesite.

The three-minute teaser also introduced a new villain who got fans curious. When asked about the trailer, Sink told fans that she wasn't allowed to give spoilers. "I can't say anything about the floating," she noted. But she admitted, "That's a wild episode though."

The Fifth Season Is The Last

While fans await the fourth season's release, Netflix has revealed that there will be the fifth one. The excitement was cut short when the streaming site mentioned that the sci-fi series would be the final one.

This made Sink sad as she admitted that she wasn't ready to wave goodbye to the series. After years of working on the project, the young star told fans, "I would go on forever if they wanted to." She also explained that the cast and crew felt like a family to her, and she didn't want to let go. "We've built a family at this point, and it's a really special and unique bond," she said. She added, "I'm going to miss everyone."
