On Wednesday night, En Vogue was unmasked as the girl group behind the Queen Cobra costumes on “The Masked Singer.”
For their final performance, they sang “Leave the Door Open” by Silk Sonic. After their performance, Robin Thicke guessed SWV and Nicole Scherzinger guessed En Vogue. Ken Jeong provided a wild guess of “Bang Bang” singers Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj.
When it came to their final guesses, everyone stuck with their initial thoughts and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg joined in with Nicole for a guess of En Vogue. Their guess was proven correct when Nick Cannon unmasked the Queen Cobras to reveal En Vogue.

After the Grammy-nominated group was unmasked, Robin Thicke said, “This is a special moment for me. When I was growing up, I studied the harmonies, I watched the videos. Your voices, your records, those harmonies, they stand up to the test of time. Thank you so much for blessing us by coming on this show.”
The trio told host Nick Cannon that they “loved coming on here because it took us out of our comfort zone.” They explained that “it was a challenge singing in the costumes but it’s also like singing in a fantasy land.” They said that “The Masked Singer” was “such a great show and it was a great experience for us. We’re grateful.”
The bowl of chili peppers in the clue package was a hint to their song “Latin Soul.” Bradley Cooper was a clue for their song “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.” Ariana Grande, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey playing saxophones was a nod to their album “Funky Divas.”

Many fans were upset that En Vogue was cut just before they made it to the finale. In their post-unmasking interview that was shared to Instagram, many fans said they should have been in the season 7 finale.
“I’ll be totally honest here, Queen Cobras deserved to make it to the finale,” one fan commented.
“They were robbed! Definitely feel some discrimination,” another fan alleged.
“They should have won last night,” said another. “I was rooting for them to win ‘The Masked Singer.’”
“It’s so obvious now,” another added. “Once we guess who ti is, they get sent home no matter how good they are.”
Yes, I know almost anything else in the world is more important than The Masked Singer. But it makes me happy (except for rudy). But not tonight: 🤬wtf TMS? En Vogue should not have lost out to the frog prince. The ladies sounded like stars, even before we saw them.
