One of the top picks in this year's NFL draft celebrated his huge moment just like the rest of us would have, partying it up in Las Vegas!!
As you can imagine the town was buzzing for the past few days with the annual draft taking place in sin city, and like many before him, Kayvon Thibodeaux celebrated as many athletes do at Circa Resort & Casino.
The outstanding linebacker was the number 5 overall pick during the league's draft, and after hearing his name called headed straight for Derek Stevens'brand new property. The now New York Giant celebrated his big win at the hotel’s outdoor pool amphitheater, Stadium Swim, and enjoyed a private cabana with his crew. Of course, there to meet him was Circa's owner DS, who is an avid football fan.
The Blast exclusively obtained photos of the star athlete celebrating his huge accomplishment.
KT’s family and close friends watched his big moment from the comfort of Stadium Swim’s breathtaking Owners Suite. A life-changing moment calls for some press, right?! The driven draft pick was spotted on Stadium Swim’s upper deck being interviewed by VSiN Live host, Stormy Buonantomy, about his recent success. KT also snapped some IG-worthy shots on the property’s special “blue” carpet with his family and friends.
Following the huge moment, Kayvon took his Circa celebration sky-high and visited the resort’s rooftop cocktail lounge, Legacy Club. Thibodeaux was eager to soak it all in – from the stunning views of the bright light city to the eye-catching display of 500 custom gold bars, to the gorgeous architecture. The best part, is we are guessing he had no problem picking up the tab for his entourage!
The football star was seen again with Mr. Stevens, 60 floors above the Vegas valley, and was sporting quite a colorful ensemble! Kayvon ventured to Legacy Club’s vast outdoor patio, where he relished the panoramic view with the big boss and his wife, Nicole.
Thibodeaux wasn't the only draft pick to hit downtown Las Vegas for the big day, New York Jets'newest pick, Breece Hall, chose to take his party downtown as well. Even though the running back is currently under 21, he was still able to enjoy Circa Las Vegas from the outside, at their permanent food truck, Project BBQ. The restaurant staff surprised the pro athlete with a sizzling football-themed feast equipped with smoked BBQ ribs, hotlink bites, truffles, crispy bacon mac n’ cheese, smoked pulled pork sandwiches, and more.
Hall and his family even watched the draft live from his two-bedroom suite at the D Las Vegas, sponsored by Circa (the D’s sister property). All of his loved ones applauded and cheered once they heard the game-changing news. How awesome is that!
The following day, more famous faces made their way to the 60th floor. Spotted at Legacy Club were Chris Steele, who recently signed a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Drake Jackson, the 2nd round draft pick for the San Francisco 49ers. Again, the king of Vegas himself made his way up to the rooftop to congratulate them on their exciting fresh start with the National Football League.
In the end, we are sure the newly drafted superstars are getting used to getting the Las Vegas VIP treatment!
