Khloe Kardashian's Anxiety Nearly DERAILED Her First-Ever Met Gala

Khloe Kardashian FINALLY got to be the bell of the Met Ball for the first time ever.

The Good American co-founder walked the Metropolitan Museum of Art stairs on Monday,  May 2, along with her sister Kylie Jenner.

Kylie is no newbie to the Met Gala, but Khloe is. Surprisingly, the cosmetics queen flew solo at the annual gala with no trace of her boyfriend, Travis Scott.

She paid homage to the late Louis Vuitton designer, Virgil Abloh, by wearing Off White.

Kylie explained that prior to his sudden passing, she and Virgil were supposed to attend the 2022 Met Gala together.

In an Instagram post she wrote, “? V

Virgil and i were supposed to go to the Met together before it got postponed in 2020. to celebrate V tonight and his incredible legacy truly means the world to me. i’m humbled to wear this dress and honor my talented beautiful friend. we felt you tonight Virgil and love you forever ♾

& thank u to the entire @off____white team !!”

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker made their Met Gala debut on Monday as well. Of course, they partook in some grotesque tongue action on the red carpet, but that’s par for the course now with this couple.

Kendall Jenner also went stag to the Met Gala, but that’s been her jam since her first time at the Met.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson also made waves at last night’s Gala. She wore Marylin Monroe’s ICONIC “Happy Birthday” dress to the ball.

She captioned the pics, “I am so honored to be wearing the iconic dress that Marilyn Monroe wore in 1962 to sing “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy. It is a stunning skintight gown adorned with more than 6,000 hand-sewn crystals by costumier Jean Louis. Thank you Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for giving me the opportunity to debut this evocative piece of fashion history for the first time since the late Marilyn Monroe wore it. I am forever grateful for this moment. ✨?.”

Khloe wore a gold Moschino dress by Jeremy Scott that she claims was made and done in 10 days.

Following Monday night’s biggest event in fashion, the Dose & Co. ambassador took to Twitter to explain how she really felt walking the Met Ball red carpet.

She tweeted, “Am I supposed to admit that I almost had a heart attack on that carpet tonight? My anxiety was through the roof!”

Khloe followed up that tweet with another writing, “I am so incredibly honored that I was invited to the MET wearing Moschino. Jeremy Scott designed my dress in about 10 days.”

As previously mentioned, this year marked Khloe’s first time getting invited to the Met Gala by Anna Wintour.

For years, Kim, Kylie and Kendall have walked the Met Gala red carpet; however, their other three siblings, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob, have never been photographed at the illustrious event.

Even Kris Jenner’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble, has been invited to the Met Ball more times than all three of them combined.

For years there has been speculation as to why Wintour, who puts on the yearly gala, hasn’t invited Kourt, Khlo and Rob.

Back in 2019, Radar Online reported that Wintour herself had initiated a ban on Khloe for being "too C-list," but this has not been confirmed by either parties.

One fan tweeted, and has since deleted, on September 12, 2021 "Anna Wintour invited Tiktokers this year to the Met Gala but she has never invited Khloe Kardashian cus she doesn’t regard khloe as an 'A LIST' Celeb. Lol."

On September 28, 2021, Koko took to Twitter to address an unfounded rumor that she has been BANNED from the gala.

A Twitter user by the handle @DramaKing25 tweeted at Koko, “Khloé now that you are online please tell if the met gala rumors are true because I’ll burn that dinosaurs bones. Khloe please clarify.”

She responded, “Absolutely NOT True.”

And clearly, the rumor wasn’t true, because less than a year later… she was at the Met Gala!
