Several supporters wondered why the lovers were not engaged already, while some gushed about their love and wished them a healthy life together.
The pandemic was a beautiful phase for Jonathan and Deschanel, during which their romance was at its initial stage. While that time was a disappointment to most couples, the TV couple's love grew stronger than ever.
The Blast previously revealed that the 42-year-old model told PEOPLE details about her relationship during last year's Environmental Association Awards, which she and her man graced.
She mentioned that their love only got fiercer during the previous year's quarantine period as she got to introduce her two children, Charlie Wolf and Elsie Otter, to Jonathan.
As you may know, she shares the kids with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik, whom she divorced in 2019 before getting romantically linked to her current lover.
Her love for Jonathan is definitely not one-sided as he reciprocated the feeling, crediting the pandemic for their amazingly enduring love.
He admitted that their time together made him grasp how much he loved the "Almost Famous" actress. The film producer stated:
"Look at it this way, I'm stuck with someone who I'm madly in love with, who's an amazing chef."
Compared to his previous relationships, where the feelings were reportedly not mutual, Jonathan confessed that this was the first time he noticed that his sentiments and efforts were being returned.

In 2020, The Blast detailed Jonathan and Deschanel's budding relationship as they were in the early phase at the time.
They went official in October 2019, which shocked fans; however, their relationship has only grown stronger.
According to a US Weekly informant, "Jonathan and Zooey had instant chemistry when they met on set. They've bonded over their love for music, film, theatre – and Christmas carols."
Despite the "chemistry," the duo did not begin dating because of romance, as they have lots of things in common, ranging from their musical taste to their humor.
They spent most of their time together during the previous year's holidays and documented almost every occasion. They also jointly appeared at the "Star Wars" premiere, which marked their debut as a couple.
Spending quarantine together went remarkably well for the stars, and Jonathan revealed that it was not a difficult period but was indeed a blessing.
He further commended her cooking skills and detailed the memorable time during which they enjoyed so much music" together.
