Amanda Backtracks Her Earlier Statements About Fiancé
In an exclusive statement to E! News, the “Fairfax” rapper said, “I thought Paul relapsed, but I was wrong.”
Her fiancé vehemently denied her claims that he had been using for six months.
In a separate statement to E!, Michael said he’s “not using now.”
Bynes’ statement continued, “He drug tested for me from a drug test kit I bought from CVS. The drug test was negative for all substances. Paul and I are staying together. I am so sorry for the confusion I caused.”
According to reports, around 2:30 AM, cops arrived on the scene due to Paul telling law enforcement that he and Amanda were in a verbal dispute.
The “She’s The Man” actress was accused by Paul of taking his Adderall and being out of control.
He told LAPD officers that Amanda kicked him out of the house, but he stayed until they arrived on scene.
Amanda Alleged Paul Was Using Drugs & Put Fish Under His Mom’s Bed
Following the early morning incident, Amanda took to her Instagram stories to share her side of the story.
“Paul told me that he stopped taking his medications. I looked at his phone and he was looking at mom-and-son porn. He vandalized his mom’s home. He broke all of her pictures and put salmon under her bed,” the former Nickelodeon star said. “His behavior’s alarming, and I’m afraid of what he’ll do.”

However, if that wasn’t bizarre enough… Amanda concluded her Story by saying she “found Paul’s stash of crack cocaine. He’s been using for the past six months. He needs serious help. I kicked him out of my house.”
In a NEW turn of events, the FIDM student hopped back on Instagram Stories once again.
“Correction, Paul looked up ‘MILFS,’ moms and sons just popped up. Also, I went to CVS, bought a drug test, Paul tested clean,” she explained. “Paul’s clean.”
Amanda Corrects Herself
And of course, she had to add a bit of humor to her story and said in another story, “Also, I had something in my teeth in the last video.”
Paul also took to his Instagram and claimed he didn’t know “what the f**k she’s talking about.”
This behavior by both is alarming given they both have past records of substance abuse.
The couple met in rehab and had been dating for a few months before announcing their engagement in February 2020. The couple split shortly after the engagement, but eventually patched things up.
Paul spoke to E! News in December 2020 and divulged things were going great in their relationship.
“We take good care of each other, and we’re understanding of one another, and she is a good listener, and we’re there for each other,” he said at the time. “We have the best time, and I love spending every second with her. She is the best thing that ever happened to me.”
Despite the ups and downs in their relationship, Amanda and Paul have seemed to be on great terms as of late.
