Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Attend RAVE Two Days After His Arrest!

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky are getting closer and closer to becoming parents.

The Barbados native and her boyfriend have recently been plagued by drama ranging from cheating rumors to an arrest.

A$AP was arrested on Wednesday, April 20, after his private jet landed at LAX.

Days prior to his arrest, cheating rumors spread about A$AP and a designer for Fenty named Amina Muaddi.

The cheating rumors were put to rest by the designer.

Despite all the drama prior to Riri’s delivery, the couple is unfazed and continuing to live their best lives as a party of two.

Just two days after his arrest, the rapper and the “Sex With Me” singer threw a rave-themed baby shower.

The rave went down on Friday, April 22, in Hollywood.

HipHollywood reported the baby shower was “over the top” but still “super intimate and private.”

Guests were asked to wear neon outfits to fit the theme. They could not take photos or videos while inside, but they were gifted exclusive party favors.

One party favor included was a T-Shirt with a photo of A$AP and Rihanna as kids. The T-shirt had a message on it which read, “I Went 2 Rih & Rocky’s Rave Shower and All I Got Was This Amazing Shirt.”

Riri and A$AP reportedly didn’t have a baby registry for the event.

As previously mentioned, the “Rave Shower” took place just two days after the rapper’s arrest.

He had been returning from a trip to Barbados, Rihanna’s home country.

A$AP, born Rakim Mayers, was arrested in connection to a shooting that allegedly happened in November 2021. In addition to his arrest, the police also obtained a search warrant for his home in Los Angeles. The LAPD reportedly made the arrest with assistance from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team.

According to NBC News, Mayers’ attorney, Alan Jackson, confirmed that Mayers had been arrested. He was booked into the jail at 12:42 PM with a bail set at $550,000 dollars, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department booking report.

Mayers posted his bail and was released about three hours after posting bond.

He has a court date set for August 17, which is likely after Rihanna gives birth to their first child, given that she is already in her third trimester. Police also executed a search warrant at his home in Los Angeles and were said to have retrieved some items from the home.

According to the LAPD, Mayers is the primary suspect in a shooting that took place on November 6, 2021, near Vista Del Mar and Salma Avenue around 10:20 PM that night.

The shooting victim told police that Mayers had been walking with two others down a street. The victim claims that Mayers approached him with a handgun and shot at him three or four times. The victim believes that one of the bullets grazed his left hand, as stated in the police report. Police say that the shooting happened after an argument between the two, but the relationship between Mayers and the victim is currently unclear.
