Hilaria Baldwin Reveals Son Rafael, 6, Broke His Arm Playing At The Park

On Thursday, Hilaria Baldwin took to Instagram to share a photo of Alec Baldwin holding his six-year-old son, Rafael. She followed it up with two more images of her son lying in a hospital bed.

The pregnant mom-of-seven revealed that “Rafa broke his arm really badly yesterday, playing at the park. You will see him with a cast for quite a while now, so I wanted to give you a heads up.”

She thanked Lennox Hill emergency room for “taking such good care of our baby.” She said she was “so grateful to the doctors and the nurses for your expertise and kindness.”

“This is a part of being a parent that is so heartbreaking,” she went on. “We were with the babies when it happened and to get that call makes your heart sink. His little voice on the phone ‘I want my mommy’…knowing even the 20 min to get to him is 20 min too long.”

“To not be able to immediately take away their pain and fear…oooof nothing prepares us for this, right?” she asked. “We were at the hospital until pretty late and then we made a bed on our floor (wild sleeper, was afraid he might fall off our bed).”

“How many times he called out for me last night, I do not know. At one point I heard him whispering to himself, recounting what happened, saying over and over: ‘I broke my arm’,” she concluded. “We are relieved that, while it will be a long recovery road, he is certainly on it ?”

While speaking with guests at Wednesday night’s New York Philharmonic Spring Gala at Alice Tully Hall, the couple let slip that they were planning to give their child an “all-American” name.

Page Six revealed that the couple is still trying to decide on baby names, but they have decided that the name will be “all-American.”

The outlet reported that Alec, 64, told veteran entertainment journalist Tom Murro that they were going to name their newborn baby “Babe Ruth or Chase Manhattan” after the baseball legend or the consumer banking company.

Despite the recent drama surrounding the fatal “Rust” shooting last October, the outlet reported that the Baldwins appeared to be in “great spirits” at the party.

The couple shares children Carmen Gabriela, 8, Rafael Thomas, 6, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 5, Romeo Alejandro David, 3 1/2, and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, who was born in September 2020, is now 18 months old. María Lucía Victoria, the couple’s newest daughter, was born last spring and is now 13 months old. Alec Baldwin also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 26, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

On Wednesday, “Batman” actress Kim Basinger appeared on Facebook Watch's “Red Table Talk,” where she and her daughter Ireland said that the “30 Rock” was not “emotionally or mentally available” for tough conversations.
