On Tuesday, April 26, the White House announced that the 46th President of the United States had granted the first three pardons of his term alongside 75 commutations.

The statement came with a candid list of the 78 clemency recipients, including their names, ages, crimes committed, and the qualities that got them pardoned.

At the time, the KKW Beauty founder saw a video about Johnson, which claimed that she should no longer be incarcerated after spending over 20 years in prison for a nonviolent drug offense.

Touched by this clip, the mother-of-four reached out to Shawn Holley, a family friend and lawyer, to ask for legal advice on the case.

The media personality also got an audience with the President through his daughter Ivanka Trump, making the former "DWTS" contestant another celebrity using their popularity to further this movement.

According to the news outlet, the criminal justice reform movement has received increased awareness thanks to the efforts of stars such as the "Disaster Movie" actress, John Legend, and Jay-Z.

The Glamour Entrepreneur Of The Year Award Winner Has A Date At The White House

As shared by The Blast, the SKIMS founder and her comedian boyfriend Pete Davidson will enjoy a fantastic date night at the White House this coming weekend.

According to sources, the lovebirds would break bread with the President and First Lady during the upcoming White House Correspondents Dinner.

After a long hiatus, the grand political roasting event will be returning with renowned comedian Trevor Noah as this year's host.

The dinner was canceled in the last two years due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and it also marked the first time the President would be attending since Trump's regime.

However, the "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" actress was no stranger to the White House event as she previously attended the dinner during Barack Obama's presidency.

Apart from having the honor of dining with the lawmakers of America, the upcoming DC outing would also be the couple's third significant appearance as an item.

The pair made their second public presentation at the 23rd annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor show on Sunday, April 24, where they supported Davidson's pal Jon Stewart.

Ahead of the release of Hulu's new reality series "The Kardashians" on April 14, Kim and the "Saturday Night Live" star made their first red carpet debut at the show's premiere party.
