Third Time's A Charm, Zendaya Is Ditching The Met Gala AGAIN!

Zendaya is saying, “Thank You, Next” to the 2022 Met Gala.

The ‘Spider-Man’ actress revealed she won’t be making an appearance at the coveted fashion event.

This marks her third year in a row in which she’s missed the ball, despite being the bell of it.

Earlier this week, she explained why she would have to miss out.

“I’m sorry to disappoint my fans here but I will be working,” the actress told Extra on Wednesday at the “Euphoria” For Your Consideration Emmys event. “Your girl’s gotta work and make some movies. So I wish everyone the best.”

Um… excuse me, Z?!

You’re acting like you haven’t worked in years and need to make up for lost time.

You’ve been working non-stop since you were on Disney.

Zendaya explained that she’ll be working on tennis, and no we don’t mean the game.

It’s a new movie she’s in called “Challengers,” which follows a group of players competing for the Grand Slam.

For fans of Z and the Met Gala, don’t fret she promised she’d be back.

“I’ll be back eventually,” she explained.

The actress’ last time on the Met Ball red carpet was in 2019. She dressed in a Cinderella gown that “magically” lit up and changed colors.

Despite missing the gala since then, Zendaya explained, “I’ll keep delivering in other ways.”

Z is the QUEEN of any red carpet she steps on.

MEGALast year, Zendaya skipped Anna Wintour’s big event yet again due to a busy work schedule.

“I will be on Euphoria,” the “Dune” star explained. “My fans are going to be very upset with me.”

There were a ton of celebrities who opted out of the Met Ball last year as well.

Selena Gomezalso skipped the ball of the year.

According to Instagram account PopFaction, Selena will not be attending this year’s gala according to her makeup artist Hung Vanngo.

Selena skipped out on the 2019 Met Gala after a mortifying 2018 appearance.

The singer posted a slew of Instagram Stories the night before the 2019 Met Gala; however, she was nowhere near New York City.

In fact, she was at Disneyland in California living her best life at the happiest place on earth.

In 2019, her makeup artist, Vanngo, confirmed to a fan that she would not be attending the annual gala.

So, there may be truth to the claim she isn’t attending this year!

Instagram account @darkpieceofart posted a photo from a runway show and captioned the post, “this year’s #metgala theme is “camp: notes on fashion” and its supposed to wear fun stuff, playful and a made of enjoyment of appreciation-not judgement it’s all about being too much. This Moschino spring 2018 collection would be so f***ing pretty on her we want something like this for selena to follow the theme not some basic dress please she deserves this.”

Vanngo commented on the photo writing, “She is not going so you can chill on your posts. Xx”
