Lindsay Lohan Announces Premiere Of Her New Podcast: 'The Lohdown'

Former child star Lindsay Lohan gave some insight into her fast-approaching podcast. The actress previously announced her partnership with Studio71 for a new podcast on entertainment, makeup, and the likes titled "The Lohdown with Lindsay Lohan."

Via her Instagram post, the 35-year-old revealed the premiere date and gave her fans a sneak peek into the podcast. According to Lohan, "The Lohdown" will have celebrities like actors, producers, entrepreneurs, musicians, and others as guest stars.

Besides her recent audio entertainment venture, Lohan is gearing up for a more visual role this year. The actress is set to appear in a Netflix rom-com titled "Falling for Christmas." The 35-year-old will also be in two more titles for the streaming service.

Lohan is set to release her new podcast series titled "The Lohdown with Lindsay Lohan" this Tuesday. The actress announced the news via Instagram, expressing her excitement to launch the podcast finally.

The caption of the Instagram post read, "Excited to share my new podcast with you!" The "Parent Trap" actress introduced herself to her listeners in a sneak peek of the series while her 2004 song "Rumors" played in the background.

"Hello, world. It's me, Lindsay Lohan, and I'm here to tell you about my brand new podcast, 'The Lohdown,'" she started. "I want 'The Lohdown' to be a place where you can get to know me — the 100% authentic me."

Lohan then added that while she was usually the person being interviewed, she would take the more active role of the interviewer in her podcast. This is to "dig deep and hear all about the fascinating and wonderful things that my guests are doing in their lives."

Still giving the rundown of her new podcast, Lohan revealed that she would make certain to bring "the successes, the failures, the hard work and the moments of life that make you smile" to her viewers. The 35-year-old also mentioned the list of guests she planned on having on her podcast.

The actress will be conversing with "people from all different backgrounds: actors, musicians, entrepreneurs, producers, YouTube personalities and many more." Lohan revealed that she planned on going deeper than the regular "surface-level questions." "I'm here for stories that hold meaning," she said.

The "Mean Girls" actress continued, "I can't wait to share each and every episode with you. Please make sure you subscribe to 'The Lohdown' wherever you get your podcasts, and you can find the show on YouTube as well, so you don't miss a single episode."

The official description of the podcast described the series as Lohan's "ultimate guide to living fully." It added that the actress would "share with you the things, people, places, and ideas that she loves" with the podcast.

The actress made news of her podcast known to the public back in October 2021. The 35 revealed that she had just partnered with media company Studio 71 to develop and create her podcast in an Instagram post.

She wrote, "I'm looking forward to connecting more with my fans and having intimate conversations with thought leaders and friends across all industries." Studio71, on their end, also posted about the collaboration on their Instagram handle.

The Instagram post read, "Studio71 is excited to announce that actress, singer, and entrepreneur @lindsaylohan has partnered with us to launch her first-ever podcast. We cannot wait for listeners to hear this never before seen side of Lindsay."

Besides her podcast, Lohan is also gearing up to appear in a holiday rom-com for Netflix, to be released this year. In the film titled "Falling for Christmas," the "Parent Trap" actress plays a spoiled rich hotel heiress who finds herself in an unlikely situation after a skiing accident robs her of her memory.
