A$AP Rocky Arrested After Arriving In LAX In Connection To Nov. 6 Shooting

It seems that A$APRocky has been arrested. However, the cause of his arrest is still unknown at this time.

TMZ reported that he was taken into custody after he flew into LAX on Wednesday morning.

It is not immediately clear why A$AP Rocky – real name Rakim Mayers -  was taken into custody. Eyewitnesses at the airport told the airport that Rocky had flown into Los Angeles from Barbados on a private jet. Sources say that the rapper was confronted by police at the terminal and led away in handcuffs.

Rocky and his girlfriend, a very pregnant Rihanna, have been having a great time in her native country of Barbados, spending time with her friends and family.

Over the weekend, there were rumors that Rocky was cheating on the “Umbrella” singer. However, sources say that there is nothing to the rumors and things are going great between the couple.

It’s not clear when Rihanna is expected to give birth, but she has previously stated that she is in her third trimester. The couple announced that they were expecting at the start of the new year.

According to NBC News, Mayers was taken into custody at the Los Angeles International Airport in connection to a November 2021 shooting.

According to the outlet, Mayers is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for a shooting that happened on November 6 near Vista Del Mar and Selma Avenue around 1020 PM that night.

The shooting victim reportedly told police that Mayers was walking with two others down the street. Mayers reportedly approached the victim with a handgun. The victim alleges that Mayers shot at him “three to four times” and stated that one of the bullets grazed his left hand.

NBC News claimed that the shooting “had not yet been reported by the media” and added that the LAPD arrested Mayers at LAX with assistance from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team.

At the end of March, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky sparked rumors of a possible engagement when the “Love on the Brain” singer was spotted wearing a large diamond ring.

According to Page Six, Riri stepped out at Kitson, Los Angeles wearing a fitted Grave Digger T-shirt with a pair of baggy mom jeans and sky-high fur stilettos slippers. She also donned a red-and-yellow baseball cap and had a gray Gucci bag slung over one shoulder as she walked to her car.

Many fans thought they saw a giant diamond ring on that finger. It is reported that the striking piece of jewelry was the Sloan Solitaire ring from the brand Briony Raymond. It reportedly featured a gold band encircling a huge diamond with a stone on top.

Although fans are eager to hear good news about a possible engagement with a baby on the way, the “Diamonds” singer has not confirmed the engagement. Rihanna started dating the “Fashion Killer” rapper in early 2020.
