Prince Harry seems to be getting back in his family’s good graces following “Megxit” in 2020.

Harry and Meghan Markle recently made a trip back to England for the first time since leaving their royal duties and moving to California.

In recent months, Queen Elizabeth II’s health has been a major topic of conversation.

The Blast previously reported on the rumors that the Queen had died as being false. She did contract COVID-19 earlier this year and was in recovery for that.

Queen Elizabeth II is preparing to celebrate her 96th birthday on April 21st.

She typically throws a grand celebration, but this year it will be a private one.

E! News reported that a senior Buckingham palace spokesperson said, “Her Majesty has travelled to the Sandringham estate for a private break."

The Queen Is Taking A Private Break At This Time

Her latest break from the public eye comes after slew of missed events.

Most recently, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Her Majesty would not be joining the other members of the royal family at the Easter Mattins Service at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on April 17. A reason for her absence was not disclosed to the public.

Despite keeping her distance from the public, Queen Elizabeth II did make time to meet with her grandson during his recent visit.

And if you think Harry will let the Atlantic Ocean keep him from protecting his grandmother, think again.

He insured to Kotb that he is making sure she is well looked after.

"I'm just making sure that she's, you know, protected and got the right people around her,” the father-of-two said.

Harry and Meghan’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, did not make the trip overseas this time.

As you may know, last year it was revealed during the couple’s sit-down with Oprah Winfrey on CBS that a member of the royal family made comments about their then-only child’s skin color.

This created a massive divide between Harry and Meghan and the entire royal family.

However, Harry did say he’s finally found “peace” living in Santa Barbara, CA.

Harry & Meghan Are At Peace In California

During the same interview with Kotb, the former royal member said, “At times I feel massively at peace,” while referring to his new life in the US.

However, it’s not lost on him that there is a lot going on in the world currently that is not peaceful whatsoever.

“For so many people it’s about management, but I do know there is a light at the end of a tunnel for everybody,” Harry explained.

His “light at the end of the tunnel” came when he left England and started his own family with Markle.

“You know, home for me now is, you know, for the time being, it’s in the states,” the former working royal admitted. “And it feels that way as well. We’ve been welcomed with open arms, and it’s got such a great community up in Santa Barbara.”
