Music icon Céline Dion is finally making her debut as a rom-com actress in the film "It's All Coming Back to Me," projected to hit cinemas by February 10th, 2023. The highly anticipated movie will also feature a bonus new track from Dion, and fans are very excited about it.

The movie also includes more of Dion's music but what is most exciting is that she will star as herself in it. Unfortunately, "It's All Coming Back to Me" is not a biopic about the legendary French Canadian singer, but there is hope for one in the future. Read on to find out more about the film.

"It's All Coming Back to Me" is an American remake of the 2016 German hit film titled "SMS für Dich," or "Text for You." Filming for the movie officially wrapped up early last year, and it is finally in its post-production. Barring any issues, it should be out by February next year.

The movie stars actress Priyanka Chopra, who acts as a bereaved woman who develops a certain habit of sending romantic texts to her late fiancé's former cellphone in order to cope with his death. The phone number turns out to be reassigned to another man, played by Sam Heughan, who grapples with his own loss.

The two heartbroken people are drawn together by the texts and eventually meet and form a connection. Dion's role in the movie is that of a mentor figure who guides the two main characters into their happily ever after.

Sony is the movie's distributor, and its title was chosen after the Jin Steinman ballad, "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," which Dion made famous when she covered it in her legendary 1996 album, "Falling Into You."

The song quickly rose to popularity and has become one of Dion's biggest hits and most iconic performances. It peaked at No.2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped music charts worldwide. The song is currently certified two times platinum, according to the RIAA.

During an episode of Just for Variety, Heughan spoke with senior culture and events editor Marc Malkin and revealed that the best-selling Canadian and French-language artist of all time also recorded a special new song which will be included in the movie.

The news of "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" comes just as "Aline" hits theatres in the United States. "Aline" is a French Canadian film starring and directed by Valérie Lemercier. It tells a fictionalized story of Dion's life from childhood into the music icon she is today but changes her name to Aline Dieu.

The singer herself announced last year that there is an official documentary about her life on the way and that it is directed by Irene Taylor and produced by Sony Music Entertainment. She announced it via Twitter, where she wrote, "It's official. We're starting production on my official documentary."

Due to some health concerns, the 54-year-old singer was forced to recently cancel several dates in the North American leg of her Courage world tour, which began just before the coronavirus pandemic hit in 2020.

She announced the cancellation of the tour dates on her Twitter, where she wrote, "I was really hoping I'd be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen my doctors are prescribing."

The singer received treatment for "severe and persistent muscle spasms," which left her unable to perform. However, she has now revealed that she will be resuming her schedule in May with several European concert dates.
