"Vanderpump Rules" started as a spinoff of "The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills." Since its inception, the reality TV show has increased by leaps and bounds, so much that fans don't remember its humble beginnings as a spinoff.

After the release of the ninth season, it received low viewership, and there was clamor from Reddit fans to cancel the show in its entirety.

This could allude to the fact that the cast wasn't as close-knit as before, given the exit of certain cast members.

However, the release of the tenth season isn't set in stone yet. While Katie Maloney, a cast member of the reality show, revealed that they were waiting to hear updates about the season ten renewal, she also had a few things to weigh in on the future of 'Vanderpump Rules.' Read on to get details of the disclosure.

'Hopefully, We Find Out Something Soon'

In exclusive talks with Us Weekly at the 2022 Neon Carnival, the star opened up on the possibilities of a season ten renewal.

"I haven't heard anything [about] not coming back, so that's a good sign. I think [they're] kind of figuring stuff out. Hopefully, we'll hear something soon."

She added that bringing back the show would be an appropriate response given all the changes most cast members have faced.

"I think given how different all of our lives are at this point, it would make for a really interesting season coming up," she explained to Us Weekly.

She continued, "We're going back to a time where there's more single people than there are couples, which is wild, because before it was everyone moving in the direction of settling down, and now it's like everyone's starting over."

He mentioned that it sucked to use the "D-word" pertaining to his romantic relationship with Maloney, adding that although his heart was aching, he was going to be okay.

"Fully respect Katie's decision, and we've had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy."

He also added that his ex-wife had taught him about being a better partner, and they shared a lot of blissful and romantic times together.

Maloney Didn't Feel Fulfilled In Her Relationship With Schwartz

During her appearance on Lindsey Metselaar's "We Met At Acme" podcast, Maloney opened up on her recent decision to file for a divorce.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star recalled that she felt like she "put in a lot of work," which wasn't reciprocated by her ex-husband. She added that she had been clamoring for her feelings to be validated and having her needs met but he neither "understood or agreed."

She also mentioned that she told him that she wasn't feeling very happy, and Schwartz didn't take any action, hoping she'd get over it. That was the tipping point, and she decided there and then to file for a divorce.

The Pair Still Live Together

While on her "You Gonna Love Me" podcast, the star revealed that she was still living with her ex-husband. She mentioned that although it had been emotional, it had also been "peaceful and loving."

She added that they were also trying to navigate becoming friends as they had several mutual friends and weren't going to make it awkward for anyone, as they might frequently hang out in these groups of mutual friends.

"And not make anyone choose sides. That's been important to us as well. And everyone has been very supportive as well," she concluded.
