Khloé Kardashian Finds Herself In A 'Tough Position' With Kourtney And Scott

The Kardashian-Jenner family is back again with their new reality show, "The Kardashians," on Hulu. After 14 years and 20 seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the family left E! to start afresh with The Kardashians, which borders on their lives as businesswomen and mothers. 

The show kicked off on April 13th, and fans were excited about the family’s return. During the first episode, Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick had a serious conversation. This was after Disick opened up to her about how he felt toward her sister and his ex, Kourtney Kardashian. 

The two also spoke about Kourtney’s new relationship with Travis Barker and how he was still learning to deal with losing her both as a romantic partner and as his “best friend.” Keep scrolling to find out more.

Disick noted that he was also trying to figure out how he fits into the family since his relationship with Kourtney had ended. While recalling the conversation, Khloé revealed that it was a difficult and “tough” one, but it was equally important since it concerned her sister.

“Tough position to be in but we are all a family and communication can fix anything,” she explained on Twitter. Fans also commended her concern and praised her for having the discussion with Disick. “I’m glad that Scott and Khloé are friends,” a user said. 

While there is no news about it, several fans began to ship Khloé and Disick romantically after seeing their bond in the first episode. “Finally seen the new [episode of] The Kardashians, and let me get this off my chest once and for all, Khloé and Scott should 100% be together,” a Twitter user wrote.

The two reportedly met at a party thrown by Joe Francis, creator of the Girls Gone Wild show, in 2006 in Mexico. They started dating shortly after, and in season 2 of KUWTK, Kourtney accused Disick of cheating on her. This was after she saw romantic texts with another woman on his phone. 

The two broke up shortly after but reconciled later in 2009, and Kourtney got pregnant with their first child Mason. The ex-couple welcomed their second child, Penelope, in 2012 and their third, Reign, in 2014. 

They reportedly called it quits finally in 2015 after some pictures surfaced of Disick with his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli. However, the two agreed on remaining co-parents for the sake of their three kids. 

Five years later, in early 2020, Kourtney reportedly started a new relationship with Travis Barker. While this may have come to fans as a surprise, the two had known for a long time. Us Weekly confirmed their relationship after Barker spent some time at her mom’s home in Palm Springs, California. 

“Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple,” they reported. “They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple months. Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while.”

Shortly before their relationship was confirmed, Barker left some comments on Kourtney’s Instagram post, which was a selfie in her closet. He dropped a rose emoji. He also commented with a mermaid emoji under a pic of her going into the ocean. The two got engaged in October 2021 while they were on a Montecito beach in California.

While talking with Khloé, Disick explained that seeing Kourtney romantically involved with Barker helped him more than he thought. He finally came to terms with the fact that they couldn’t get back together. 

“Now that Kourtney’s got her life with Travis, as hard as it is, it does give me a place to finally be able to move on,” he continued, “It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically, but now it’s becoming a huge adjustment losing her as a best friend. Now we’re really just more co-parents. I’d say it’s probably one of the more difficult things in my life.”

On Twitter, a fan commented, “Kourtney and Travis Aside, this conversation between Khloé and Scott is so sad, my feelings hurt for Scott.”
