Did Britney Spears Just Reveal Her Baby's Name And Gender?!

Singer Britney Spears is no stranger to leaving cryptic clues on Instagram and her followers think that she just dropped the biggest clue of all... her baby's gender!

Remember, a few months ago, Britney posted a photo with her hands making a heart shape over her stomach. Fans swore that meant that she was pregnant... and on Monday, Britney revealed that she is!

However, Britney never disclosed how far along she is, so fans don't know when the baby is due, what the gender of the baby is, or what the baby's name will be. At least, not explicitly. Fans think that the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer just dropped a major clue to the gender and name of her new baby!

Britney had two teenage boys from her marriage to Kevin Federline, which lasted from 2004 to 2007. However, she’s always revealed that she’s wanted a girl.

On Friday, Britney posted a close-up photo of her face with the caption, “?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ROSE !!!”

Fans think that all of the pink heart emojis mean that Britney is having a daughter and “Rose” will be the name of her daughter! Of course, Britney has posted about her love of roses before, but that also makes it the perfect name for her daughter!

Of course, she might not know the baby’s gender yet, but perhaps she’s hoping to manifest her wishes into reality? Either way, fans were hopeful that Britney was able to confirm that her baby was a girl so she could get the daughter she’s always wanted.

“So… is a girl? ???” one fan asked.

“If it's a baby girl name her Rose! Rose Spears!!! ❤️❤️❤️” another commented.

“Baby girl??” asked a third. “It’s a girl???” asked a fourth.

Other fans were worried about her black eye. However, eagle-eyed fans say that this is an old photo from her conservatorship. One fan commented, “FYI since I haven’t been able to keep up with posts on my own account … this is an August 12, 2020 zoom and repost (her 2nd pic from that day). Miss you all. ?❤️?”

However, it’s not really clear why Britney would be focusing on an old photo while she should be celebrating the birth of her (possible) daughter. In other photos, Britney has been nothing short of elated to welcome her new bundle of joy.

On April 6, Britney posted a video captioned “Baby Did a Bad Thing PART 2 !!!” where she loses her top in the sand. Plenty of fans remember the post because of all of the onlookers staring on in the background, including the guy in black who is probably a security guard.

On Friday, Britney paid tribute to the video by sharing it again, with the caption, “Throwback clips of me and my small fetus playing in the water ?? in Mexico ?? !!!”

Her assistant, Vicky T, commented, “The best trip ever ❤️”

Of course, fans probably remember Britney’s fun time with Vicky T, where she joked about them cuddling naked in the pool together… and posted pictures to prove it.

Still, other fans pointed out that the fetus Britney talked about her “small fetus” in the caption, which meant that she probably knew that she was pregnant at the beginning of the month. Fans still don’t know when she’s due, but it seems that she decided to wait a little bit before sharing the news with her fans.

However, it’s worth noting that fans really don’t know how far along Britney really is. Fans know that she really loves to post throwback photos – if her “black eye” pic is any indication – so Britney could be visibly showing and just decided not to share those photos with her fans.

Although it’s not clear how far along Britney is or when she’s due, now that she is free of her stifling 13-year conservatorship, it’s up to Britney how much information she wants to disclose to her fans about her pregnancy. Even if she decides she only wants to post throwback pictures until the baby is born, fans will still support her choices.
