Tom Parker's Wife Invites Fans To Attend His Funeral

Tom Parker’s life may have been tragically cut short, but his legacy will live on.

The former Wanted singer and band member sadly lost his battle with brain cancer late last month.

He was just 33-years-old at the time of his death.

Tom’s wife, Kelsey Parker, recently announced his funeral and celebration of life plans on social media.

On April 12, Kelsey made the funeral information public on her Instagram.

The post read, “Thomas Anthony Parker. There will private celebration of life on Wednesday 20th April. We know many of you would like to pay your respects as well, so would love for you to join us in Petts Wood from 10am. It would be beautiful to have everyone line the route as we head to our private service. You are then welcome to join us outside the church for the duration where the service will be relayed on screens. Love Kelsey ?.”

On April 2, Kelsey took to social media to thank her and Tom’s friends, family and fans for all of the support.

She posted a photo of herself with Tom from sunnier days.

“Words can’t express how much all of your love and support means right now. We are overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity. We have set up a donations page for those of you wishing to donate in Tom’s memory. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️ In loving memory of my husband Tom Parker,” she wrote.

Kelsey announced his passing on March 30th.

"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side," she wrote. “Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can't imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence. We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom's light continues to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I'm forever proud of you."

Along with the statement, Kelsey shared photos of Parker with her and their two children.

Many of her verified followers were swift to send their condolences.

“Sending you lost of love Kelsey, thoughts are with you and your family ❤️,” Harleemusic wrote.

“I’m so sorry, Kelsey. Love y’all very much ?,” Tucker Rule commented.

Connie Simmonds wrote, “Darling ?I’m so sorry for this huge loss. My heart goes out to you and your family❤️❤️❤️.”

The Wanted’s official Instagram account, @TheWantedMusic, shared the following message, “Max, Jay, Siva, Nathan and the whole Wanted family are devastated by the tragic and premature loss of our bandmate Tom Parker, who passed away peacefully at lunchtime today surrounded by his family and his band mates. Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi. He was our brother, words can’t express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts. Tom Parker 1988-2022.”
