Heidi Montag is the new “celebrity” face of S1NGLESJEANS.

What are S1NGLESJEANS you may be asking? They are the world’s first line of single-use jeans.

Basically, what this means is, you wear them one time and throw them out.

Seems… like an interesting yet very earth-hating product, right?

Well, here’s the catch.

S1NGLESJEANS are made from a proprietary blend of form-fitting cotton and recycled plastic.

Heidi Montag Gets Slammed For New Clothing Endorsement

The official IG account has been promoting the single-use jean brand since Monday with captions such as, “A first impression is all you need,” “One perfect denim for one perfect night,” and “Wear. Toss. Repeat.”

Many people found out about the jean line through Montag’s Instagram account.

The “Hills” star first promoted the jeans on Monday writing, “No more shrinkage. No more fading color. Just good vibes. You’ll always look your best because you’ll only wear @S1NGLESNEANS once.”

She followed up the promotion on Tuesday with another post which read, “Made to hug our bodies, @S1NGLESJEANS is made from a proprietary blend of form-fitting cotton and recycled plastic. Wear them once, then toss them out.”

As you can imagine, many people, (myself included), were wondering how in the world is this even sustainable.

Heidi opened the floodgates in her comments and people didn’t hold back.

The Confusion & Anger Was Intense & Immediate!

“What in the global warming did I just read?”

“And she’s floating in the ocean like a single use water bottle??”

“What in the stupid idea is this?!

“This is so wasteful omg. Heidi you really lost yourself.”

“It’s made of recycled plastic but we throw it away after?”

“This I s so wasteful. I just don’t understand why?”

Some people believe it could be a belated April Fool’s Day joke given Earth Day is on Friday, April 22.

Is This A Belated April Fool's Day Joke?!?

Montag isn’t one to typically stay quiet when there’s backlash on her social media posts, but the MTV reality TV star hasn’t hit back at any of the critics.

More answers about this bass ackwards brand will most likely come to light on Thursday, April 14.

S1NGLESJEANS official IG account shared, “You can’t change denim without making a few waves. Be ready on 4.14.22 #S1NGLESJEANS.”

Heidi made waves, PUN INTENDED, last month when she came after Lady Gaga.

Montag appeared on “The Unpopular with Jacques Peterson” podcast to talk about her experience working with Gaga prior to the release of her 2010 debut album “Superficial.”

“People are like ‘I love Lady Gaga’ and I’m sure she’s great, but I have not had the best encounter with her,” Montag recalled.

She said that her relationship with Gaga soured when they were both working with mega-producer RedOne, whose real name is Nadir Khayat.

In 2009, Montag seemed to have nothing but high praise for the Grammy Winner, telling Us Weekly that Gaga “has a star quality — a powerful personality with no limits. She can do anything and make it sound credible. She’s a born star.”

However, Gaga wrote a song called “Fashion” which she allegedly granted permission for the “Hills” star to use.

Montag said that Gaga told RedOne, “Great, sure, she can have that song” after she requested permission to release it. She said she even featured the song during a segment she filmed for “The View” at the time.

However, Montag alleges that producers for the 2009 movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic” expressed interest in using “Fashion” for the movie soundtrack. At that time, Gaga took the song back from Montag and released it herself.

Montag claims that Gaga said, “No, I’m pulling that song, and I’m recording it. It’s not Heidi’s anymore.”

If that wasn’t enough, Montag also accused Gaga of sabotaging her relationship with RedOne!
