2022 is the year Lindsay Lohan will make a massive cinematic comeback.
The “Mean Girls” actress is slowly making her way out of living a low-profile life and will be back on TV screens in no time.
Lilo has a Netflix rom-com, “Falling for Christmas,” due out this holiday season, and it will be her first major movie role in years.
Lindsay Lohan Is Making A Major Comeback
In addition to making movies, Lindsay starred in a Planet Fitness commercial that premiered during the Super Bowl, and she recently sat down with Vogue for their series, “My Life In Looks.”
Needless to say, Lilo is booked and busy, and her ‘Parent Trap’ co-star, Dennis Quaid, cannot wait for what she’s got coming out.
During a red-carpet interview at the 2022 CMT Music Awards, Quaid told Us Weekly that he’ll always talk to his on-screen daughter.

“Well, I’ll always talk to her. ‘The Parent Trap’ will always be in our conversation, of course, whether we speak of it or not, because I’m kind of like her movie dad,” he said.
The veteran actor said he expects “really great things” coming from the 35-year-old, following her recent return to acting.
“The Parent Trap” came out in 1998 and shot Lilo to stardom overnight.
"The Parent Trap" Holds A Special Place In Lindsay's Heart
The movie is about twin girls separated at birth. One child, Annie, moves to London with the mother while the other, Hallie, stays in the US with the father, played by Quaid.
By happen stance, Annie and Hallie meet one another during sleep-away camp in the US, and devise a plan to swap lives.
While reminiscing on the film, Lilo explained that she desired to be more like the character Annie who lived with the posh mother in London, England.
“When I was doing ‘The Parent Trap’ I remember I wanted to be more like Annie, because she was more preppy and reserved, and she just had a classier twist to her that I loved,” she explained. “Hallie was too American for me, because I was too used to that, but Annie was my favorite. I always wanted to be Annie.”
In 2020, Lindsay also gushed over the film.
“There was such lovely and beautifully written moments, funny but just heart-wrenching because it’s like, missing that person in your life and then finally having that person,” Lohan said. “You forget … how much you miss people until you’re actually with them and you haven’t seen them in a while. And I think those scenes really tear me up.”
