King, who went Instagram official with Owens less than a week before their wedding in October 2021, previously revealed the pair's love story took off with rocket speed.

At the time, the blonde beauty said "within a week, we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together."

Perhaps this fast pace should have been an omen but the former couple pushed on, getting married in a private family wedding held at the groom's parents' house in Pennsylvania.

As the child of President Joe Biden's sister and close advisor, Valerie, the Los Angeles-based attorney's ceremony was attended by the politician and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.

This may have been the final sign of the couple's declining relationship as not long after the former spouses' rollercoaster romance officially ended.

As aforementioned an insider claimed the "Say Yes to the Dress" star wanted a "happy ending" with Owens. In the sources words,

Meghan wanted the fairy tale with Cuffe. She thought she had it. ... She felt he couldn't show up the way she thought he could.

Although her hopes were shattered, the informant assured the news outlet that the 37-year-old was no longer trapped in the past.

"She really has moved on," the source shared, "she's happy and in a good place. She doesn't talk about him or what happened at all."

And that's not all! Failing three times in love could break anyone's spirits but not King, who the insider stated had not given up on her fairy-tale dream.

The anonymous individual revealed that the Bravo star remains "open and ready for love" while searching for someone to care for both her and her children.

The sales representative has three children, a daughter, and twin sons, from her second marriage to ex-baseball star Jim Edmonds.

As the media personality's search for true love continues, Owens appeared to be doing fine. His mother shared his "great" state while discussing her latest memoir, "Growing Up Biden," with the outlet.

The entertainer admitted that her brief marital affair with President Biden's nephew was more convenient than it was romantic as the pair shared a similar upbringing.

"It was almost like an arranged marriage," the 37-year-old explained, "I felt like, except we chose one another that does not precisely spell romance."

The reality TV star also confirmed that she noticed red flags during her relationship with the 43-year-old, who she described as a "good actor."

Another factor responsible for the former spouses' separation was King's desire to have a partner and someone to help with her children.

Back in February, The Blast shared that the mother-of-three had returned to the dating scene, a fact she confirmed on Tamra Judge's podcast, "Two Ts in a Pod."

During the interview, the entertainer insisted that what she had with Owens was too short to be considered a marriage. Instead, she referred to their romance as a "three-month dating relationship."

However, she remained saddened by their short love story as truly wanted the couple to work out rather than the end as a "nostalgic memory."
