The “Goldmine” Songstress Excitedly Welcomes Daughter With Husband, Cade Foehner
Barrett is a proud mother to her daughter, Baylah May as she previously announced the news of her child’s birth on social media. The Blast previously revealed that Layla was welcomed into the world on January 18, 2021.
The talented vocalist shares her baby girl with her husband and fellow “American Idol” contestant Cade Foehner whom she wedded on October 5, 2019.
The couple fell in love while they were contestants on season sixteen of the show in 2018. However, Barrett made it to the finals, gaining third place while Foehner was eliminated in the top five elimination rounds.
Nevertheless, their love for each other never perished and while they were on a trip to Los Angeles, Foehner asked for his lover’s hand in marriage. They got engaged in March 2019.
About ten months after their marriage, they announced Barrett’s pregnancy and were pretty thrilled to welcome their first child.
Although the pregnancy was not planned, the iHeartRadio Music Awards nominee expressed in an interview that she was grateful to God to become a mother while gushing about how exciting it felt.
