Nicki Minaj finally made her "Carpool Karaoke" debut and paid tribute to none other than Adele!
On Wednesday, April 6, James Corden's beloved singing segment on "The Late Late Show" made a splashy return after a two-year hiatus with the Queen of Rap as the first celebrity guest.
As the name suggests, the show features the host and guest stars driving around while singing along to sweet tunes. When Minaj came onboard, she paid tribute to the "Hello" songstress with a hilarious impression.

After Coronavirus shut down the fan-favorite "Carpool Karaoke" segment, the show returned with a bang as Minaj joined Corden on an entertaining ride around Los Angeles.
On Thursday, April 7, a snippet from the duo's musical synergy shared on Twitter showed the "Super Bass" rapper performing the high notes in Adele's "Someone Like You."
Although the Trinidadian-born artist is known for her versatile vocal range as a hip-hop star, the 39-year-old did not flaunt her talents but playfully sang along with the host.
When it comes to her music, Minaj has always been in charge but for the hilarious "Carpool Karaoke" segment, she allowed Corden to take the wheel for the Tottenham native's song.
While the "Cats" actor gave a melodious performance, the mother-of-one supported him with an off-key cover of the tune in addition to dramatic hand gestures and facial expressions.
In the end, the pair could not help but burst into laughter at their priceless collaboration, which also received positive responses from fans.
Underneath the post, the "Anaconda" rapper's avid supporters praised her for having a unique sense of humor while others implored the idol to collaborate with the "Easy On Me" singer.
The 'Anaconda' Rapper Had Returned The Favor
Although her tribute was not flawless, Minaj's admiration for Adele skyrocketed after the Londoner shocked the world with a remarkable performance of the eight-time AMA winner's song, "Monster."
Back in 2016, the fifteen-time Grammy Award winner appeared on Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" segment, where the pair took a joy ride around London.
The 33-year-old showcased her multi-talented singing skills by hitting lines on the renowned rapper's song with the prowess of a seasoned professional.
The historic moment became the most-watched "Carpool Karaoke" episode with over 250 million views and 3 million likes. At the time, the "Chun Swae" artist praised the songstress on Twitter by writing, "Adele is mad ratchet. I can’t take her."
As previously shared by The Blast, in February 2022, five years after the iconic performance, the "Onika" fragrance line founder revisited the memorable affair on "The Late Late Show With James Corden."
While promoting her latest single with Lil Baby, "Do We Have A Problem," the Billboard chart-topper recalled the emotions she had after watching the blonde singer's Karaoke episode.
The 39-year-old said, "that made my day, my year. I got a thousand phone calls about that one thing."
During the interview, the Hip-hop Queen channeled her inner Adele by mimicking the "Set Fire to the Rain" singer's North London accent.
While speaking in the made-up voice, the twelve-time BET Award winner explained that she could only mimic the Tottenham native by thinking like "a black lady in London."

The mother-of-one welcomed her bundle of joy, nicknamed Papa Bear, in 2020 and frequently blesses fans with stories of the toddler's escapades.
One of such tales involved the rapper's driver, which the doting parent shared on Twitter. According to the Trinidadian native, the family was on their way home when Papa Bear pulled a naughty stunt.
The little boy suddenly reached out from his car seat to poke the driver's head and quietly sat down as though nothing happened. Shocked by the encounter, Minaj wrote "My face said 🤯."
As for how the driver reacted, the Brit Award winner explained that the man was not offended, rather the toddler's mischievous side made him smile.
Once the family got home, the "Starships" singer queried the boy about his actions and Papa Bear confessed that he copied the stunt from the beloved animation "Despicable Me," stating that the driver resembled the main character Gru.
