The "Rust" Actor's Daughter Addresses Fatphobia In Candid Post

Baldwin is not one to keep silent in the face of criticism against her body, especially on her social media.

The Blast disclosed that on March 19, Basinger's beautiful daughter took to her Instagram page to address fatphobia with a mirror selfie of herself in a tight bikini top.

Baldwin wrote in her captions that Instagram took down a set of throwback photos she posted of her covered nude body.

The model noted that she then received a message from a critic. The person accused her of being fatphobic for posting photos of her body and spreading a harmful message by being herself. She continued:

"I want to be VERY clear about something. In NO way is what I chose to post on my page fatphobic, let alone YOUR business."

Baldwin noted that she adores all body types, adding that as long as people are happy in their bodies, it does not matter.

The 26-year-old expressed that one can be thin, fit, or fat and be unhealthy as BMI is not always an indicator of one's health, and all bodies are different. She wrote:

"All bodies metabolize differently, have different genetics. SO MANY FACTORS. I’m never pushing diet teas and horse shit supplements that don’t work on my page. I never will. I post my body because, well, it’s my page, and 2, because I am proud of how far I’ve come with my own body dysmorphia and image acceptance."

Baldwin clarified that by uploading images of herself on social media, she is not trying to encourage anybody to look like she does. She buttressed:

"I don’t unrealistically edit my images to encourage people to look like this unrealistic version of myself. I empathize tremendously with people’s pain, but sometimes I call b-llsh-t and think people need to get a grip."

Baldwin wants internet users to be able to use their pages to celebrate and express themselves in the manner they wish as people fight their own battles behind the cameras. She explained:

"Let people use their platforms to be who they want to be and be proud of themselves. You don’t know how people struggle behind the curtain. I will never allow fatphobia on my page ever and in no way is posting my own body fatphobic.”

Many viewers positively received the actress's post. A fan summed up the majority of support, writing, "You were very brave and bold for posting the photos. They were absolutely beautiful. Thank you for always sharing your truth."
