Serena Williams Stuns In Matching Kimono Sweater And Shoes: 'This Is A Purple Week'

Serena Williams dazzles yet again with her impressive clothing choice. Naturally, the skilled athlete is noted for her unique fashion taste, often capturing media attention.

Her stylishness and fame have gained her several collaborations with renowned brands, including Puma, Nike, and Poshmark. However, she currently owns a sustainable clothing line named S by Serena.

Williams is not the type to closet her fashion statements on social media, as she recently shared her newest look on Instagram.

"I'm warning you, this is a purple week," the 23-time Grand Slam winner wrote under her latest post, showing her wearing a purple kimono sweater over a similarly colored turtleneck garb with matching heels.

There were three pictures in the carousel, and she was captured sitting regally on a grand chair and giving off a no-nonsense vibe.

Her kimono sweater had different shades of purple, similar to her hot-looking stilettos. At the same time, her multi-hued hair was neatly curled and left to fall around her shoulders.

She donned simple jewelry, including her signature diamond ring and a pair of diamond curve earrings from her jewelry brand, 'Serena Williams Jewelry.'

Williams' outfit was loved by many who praised her look and showered her with sweet words. Loren Ridinger wrote in the comments, "This is my favorite," followed by three purple heart emojis.

Many supporters were totally taken with the tennis icon's shoe, and a few mentioned they had the same type. One fan called her a purple goddess, while another stated purple was the new black.

The 40-year-old has proven numerous times that she can slay and play. As successful as she is on the tennis court, she has also shown much of the same in fashion.

During her recent stay in the vogueish Paris, The Blast noted that Williams looked effortlessly stunning in a chic dress from her fashion line.

The clothing is named the 'Riley' dress, and it was a medium-length ruched gown with a crossover neckline and colored black and red. It was also an off-the-shoulder piece with pretty patterns.

She matched her outfit with black shoes, a gold necklace, and her diamond ring. Her hair was also styled into a short blonde bob with black hues.

As expected, fans gushed over the sportswoman just like they did when she launched a new collection from her brand.

Around the middle of last year, Williams introduced the 'Xena Be Strong Leggings' with a white-themed photoshoot showing herself wearing the leggings and white long-sleeved crop top. She then paired it off with Stuart Weitzman's red heels.

Williams has shown that her style never runs out, both at work and in play. The Blast shared that she rocked an all-black outfit that included a black crop top, high-waist skirt, and black heels while having fun outdoors.

The crop top fitted her upper body to a tee while revealing her well-toned midsection. While the skirt was made of fine fabrics that showed off her shapely rear as she moved.

She did not leave out her jewelry as she included a gold chain, a black wristwatch, and her diamond ring. Neither did she leave her hair out as it was styled into slight curls that flowed down her back.

Before dominating the sports industry and making a name for herself in fashion, the former sportsperson of the year had planned for retirement as she revealed last year that she was not fearful of her tennis reign coming to an end. She said:

"I am prepared for that day. I've been prepared for that day for over a decade… If you've seen 'King Richard,' you know that my dad always said you got to prepare, so I've been prepared for that."

The Olympic gold medalist mentioned that her career was not the most important as she placed her family above all else in the world.

Her beautiful family consists of her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and her cute little daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. Alexis is Reddit's co-founder and executive chairman; he married Williams in an adorable ceremony in 2017.
