On Friday, March 18, Williams shared a short clip of herself spending some quality time outdoors while doing the last thing fans ever expected.

In the video, the athlete styled her brown and blonde highlighted hair into gentle waves that flowed down to the Michigan native's waistline.

The Olympic gold medalist rocked an all-black ensemble with a black crop top that fitted the champion's body like a second skin while giving viewers a glimpse of her flat-toned stomach.

This form-fitting outfit was completed with a graceful high-waist skirt designed with sheer material, which flaunted the No. 1 singles titleholder's curvaceous lower half whenever she moved.

As for her accessories, the mother-of-one kept it luxurious but straightforward by wearing a gorgeous necklace with an "S" shaped pendant, a black wristwatch, a diamond ring, and black heels.

However, the purpose behind this post wasn't to show off the tennis player's fashion sense but to display her inner child.

The one-half of the iconic Grand Slam Sisters proved that her childhood innocence had survived the times as she expertly slid down the stairs' railing.

Although the 40-year-old didn't accomplish the best landing at the end of her stunt, Williams wasn't fazed by her near fall and happily laughed at the camera.

A woman could be heard in the background, heartily cheering for the athlete, who couldn't help but throw her hands in the air, proud of her childish feat.

This fun video was simply captioned, "Cause why not?" and it surprisingly gained over 7 million views and 2,000 comments in less than four hours after it was shared.

Naturally, the Queen of the court admirers had mixed reactions to this post. Many were impressed by her sliding skills, while some expressed concerns about the WTA star's near fall.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion's clothing line, 'S by Serena' also dropped a comment that read, "Heels won't stop the fun," alongside a laughing face emoji.

Earlier in March, The Blast reported that the fashion icon wore one of the label's signature outfits during a trip to Paris, the famous City of Love.

The caramel-glazed goddess shared two breathtaking pictures of herself in a black and red bodycon apparel known as the Riley dress.

The stunning attire gave off a casual but sexy vibe with its body-hugging ruched gown designed with a convertible crossover neck and sheer fabric that accentuated the rose patterns.

More gorgeous outfits like the Riley dress can be found on the pro-tennis player's fashion website, and these collections include; the Sophia sheer midi dress with flattering ruching and the Ava one-sleeved mini dress.

According to the S by Serena label's description, the brand provided "bold and inspired dresses" with unique fabrics and diverse styles that every woman could wear.

The "Being Serena" Star Made Plans For Her Retirement Over A Decade Ago

Last month, The Blast revealed that Williams had planned for retirement years before she established herself as one of the dominant figures in the sports industry.

During an interview, the "Drop Dead Diva" guest star admitted that she wasn't afraid of ending her reign as a tennis champion. In her words:

"I am prepared for that day. I’ve been prepared for that day for over a decade… If you’ve seen ‘King Richard,’ you know that my dad always said you got to prepare, so I’ve been prepared for that."

The Olympic gold medalist explained that her career wasn't the most crucial thing in the world; instead, the athlete prioritized her loving family.

The 4-time Laureus Sportswoman of the Year award winner tied the knot with Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder and executive chairman of Reddit, in 2017, and the pair share one daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

However, her family wasn't the athlete's retirement plan as the 40-year-old enjoyed rewards from investing in several startups and businesses.
