Tasha K Ordered By Court To Delete All Old Posts

According to TMZ, on Monday, a federal judge in an Atlanta court signed off on an injunction ordering Tasha K to delete old posts on her Instagram and YouTube where she defamed Cardi.

As you might know, Cardi and the famous blogger have been at it for three years after the “Bodak Yellow” sued Tasha for defamation. The “unWinewithTashaK” host was sued for libel after videos on her YouTube channel accused Cardi of prostitution, substance addiction, and infidelity in her marriage to rapper Offset among other horrendous claims.

The 3-year legal battle finally came to an end in January when the court ruled against Tasha following an emotional testimony from Cardi about battling suicidal urges due to the lies told about her.

Tasha K, whose real name is LaTasha Kebe, was found guilty of intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy through false public portrayal.

As a result, Tasha was ordered to pay the rapper $1.25 million in general damages, $250,000 for medical expenses, another $1 million in general expenses, and $1,338,753.47 in litigation expenses — all amounting to about $4 million.

The blogger was also asked to delete all posts that contained offending statements about the rapper. Despite the ruling in the defamation case, Tasha was given the chance to appeal the judgment and has since done so.

However, she failed to follow the court’s previous judgement to delete all offending statements about the rapper. As a result, an injunction was signed off by a judge, giving the blogger only five days to scrub her social media and YouTube page of all things that seemingly defame Cardi.

According to the judge, Tasha can’t have a pass to continue defaming Cardi while trying to appeal the case. Both parties have agreed on the injunction and Tasha is on the clock.

If, however, she wins the appeal, she can file to modify the injunction and therefore be able to repost her claims against Cardi.

The Blogger Couldn’t Afford The $4 Million

As The Blast previously reported, a month after the court’s ruling, Tasha got candid about the state of her finances during an appearance on “All Blk.”

The YouTuber confessed that she didn’t have the resources to pay the whopping $4 million demanded of her.

She lamented “I ain’t got it! Don’t ask me for no money. Who tryna pay $4 million?” When challenged by the hosts about the success of her YouTube page which boasts 994K subscribers, Tasha responded saying she had two kids to take care of.

It was during the discussion she revealed her plans to appeal the court case. She had previously hinted at an appeal in a Twitter statement shortly after the verdict was given.

”Everyone in my seat has been through this, & this ain’t the last. This comes with the territory,” she wrote at the time.

As we previously covered, the mother-of-two received the heat from her fan base after she was notably absent from the 2022 Grammy Awards.

Cardi was accused of teasing her fans of her presence and not working hard enough to satisfy them. The rapper, however, wasn’t having the allegations and clapped back at every fan who came at her on the platform.

However, things became unbearable for Cardi when a fan brought her son into the equation. “I bet yo son wouldn’t like for you to be on your a** while teasing us fans and not ever dropping music,” the angered fan wrote.

In response, Cardi released a statement announcing her desire to deactivate her account. The “F9” star has since deleted both her Twitter and Instagram accounts and it’s unsure if she’ll ever return.
