On Monday, April 4, Miller took to her Instagram page to acknowledge that she is aware of the swirling claims that she and Garfield have split up.

The model uploaded a selfie of her and the actor in a vehicle, sporting the black outfits they wore to their first public debut at the Screen Actors' Guild Awards in February. Miller wrote in her caption:

"If you must gossip, at least use a cute photo. Lol, love you, AG [butterfly emoji]."

The former Sports Illustrated cover girl did not confirm or deny her relationship status with Garfield, leaving fans to wonder if she was sending him her love in a platonic or romantic sense.

A source previously told ET that the two had parted due to the inability to see each other, as they are both busy personalities. The person said:

"Their work commitments and schedules made it hard for them to continue their relationship. Andrew is staying positive and surrounding himself with his close friends and loved ones."

Garfield and Miller first appeared at the star-studded Screen Actors' Guild Awards, but they did not walk the red carpet together. They were later seen inside in coordinated black pieces.

The outlet noted that the Oscar nominee has just come off the end of a hectic awards season after starring as Jonathan Larson in the musical adaptation of "tick, tick...BOOM!"

This impeccable role earned Garfield an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe nod for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.

The star also had to dedicate his time to make a surprise cameo in the 2021 Marvel hit "Spider-Man: No Way Home." He is also starring in the "Under the Banner of Heaven" series.

The "Mainstream" Actor And Ex-Girlfriend Emma Stone Remain Close Friends

Garfield will likely remain friends with Miller if they confirm their breakup, such as with his former lover Emma Stone.

Last year, The Blast disclosed that "The Eyes of Tammy Faye'' actor showed that he and Stone were still thick as thieves.

While appearing on Josh Horowitz’s "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Garfield hilariously spoke about tricking the "Cruella DeVille" actress into believing he would not make a cameo in "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

The Golden Globe-winning actor said that his former lover asked him constantly if he would be in the movie, and he lied that he wouldn't. He recounted, amid a fit of laughter:

"Emma kept on texting me, and she was like, ‘Are you in this new Spider-Man film? And I was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about."

Garfield continued that it was very amusing for him to keep playing dumb with the curious "La La Land Actress" until the truth came out during the film's premiere.

The production saw all Spider-Man actors from the Marvel franchise, including Tobey Maguire and the new lead Tom Holland teaming up to save the day.

Garfield could not hold back his laughter when he explained that Stone called him a jerk after seeing the film. This showed that they still have a friendship where they can comfortably tease each other.

Stone is currently a wife to “Saturday Night Live” director Dave McCary. The couple welcomed their first child last year — a daughter named Louise Jean McCary.

The "Spinning The Web" co-stars began dating while starring as the lead male and female protagonists in the former "The Amazing Spider-Man" series. They broke up four years later in 2015 but remained close. A source told US Weekly that year:

"They still have a lot of love for one another, and they are on good terms with each other and remain close. It just wasn’t working."

Another source said that there had been no drama between them, and they still care for each other, adding that they remain tight friends.
