'Love Is Blind' Shake Chaterjee Gets Revenge On Nick Lachey

“Love Is Blind” season two villain Abishek “Shake” Chaterjee’s 15 minutes of fame are far from over.

The former contestant on the hit Netflix dating show just announced some major life changes.

The Chicago-based veterinarian is closing up shop and moving to Miami, FL.

A main reason for the move could be due to his new girlfriend, Emily, who is based in Miami.

In addition to the move, Shake is closing up shop as a dog doctor…for the time being.

He made the announcement on March 31 via Instagram.

Shake captioned the post, “Don't get me wrong, Chi-town got it goin' on. And New York is the city that we know don't sleep. And we all know that L.A. and Philly stay jiggy. But on the sneak, Miami bringin' heat for real.”

In an even crazier turn of events, the reality TV star announced that he would be taking over hosting duties for “Love Is Blind” season four!

Yeah, you read that correctly.

Shake announced on April 1 that he’d be taking over Nick and Vanessa Lachey’s hosting duties on “Love Is Blind” following season three.

If you’re reading this wide-eyed with your mouth on the floor, you aren’t alone.

The Tab was first to report the news and according to the outlet, “Season three of the show is set in Dallas, and has already been filmed, and this will be the last season current hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey will head up, with Shake taking over from season four.”

Netflix allegedly confirmed the news, and all I have to say is, “What in the hell is happening???”

Nick and Shake do NOT have a good report with one another, so this has got to be the ultimate revenge Shake could get on the singer.

The vet has bashed Nick on social media on multiple occasions since the show wrapped.

The outlet also reported, “He [Shake] will host both the main show, and all spin-off and reunion shows too. ‘Love Is Blind’ has been confirmed for at least a fourth and fifth season on Netflix.”

The former veterinarian is “extremely excited” about the new role, and cannot wait to return to the pods to film.

“I have to admit, when I got the call I was a bit shocked myself,” he told The Tab. “But I’m extremely excited. Obviously the bosses know they need to keep people talking, and the best way to do that is to get someone like me involved. They’d be fools to let me go.”

Shake reportedly will help teach cast members on the upcoming seasons how to “make it big” on the show.

“I’m not changing for anyone,” he said. “The Shake you saw on the show is me, and I won’t apologize for that. Since the show I’ve had loads of guys asking for dating advice, so I’ve decided I’ll be a bit of a guru for the newbies on the show. I’m most looking forward to see who will step into my villain shoes next!”

Now, if all of this seems too insane to be true, that’s because it is!

However, fans of the show and Shake shouldn’t be shocked by this behavior.

The guy has been grasping at any opportunity to stay relevant and keep his 15 minutes of fame alive.
