Raven-Symoné is back with fervor on "The View" after leaving in 2016 to reprise her role as Raven Baxter on "Raven’s Home."

She married social media manager Miranda Pearman-Maday during the sitcom filming, and they both recently appeared on "The View" to celebrate the talk show’s 25th season.

Speaking with the talk show’s hosts, the actress opened up about her weight loss journey and the reason behind her and her partner’s decision to start a YouTube series while reflecting on her time on the show.

Symoné was pretty enthusiastic as she strolled with her spouse towards the guest seat, wearing a lighter shade of her wife’s brown outfit.

Viewers have always loved her lively spirit, and she did not disappoint them during her appearance as she was all-smiles while mentioning she missed everyone on the show.

The female presenters joyfully welcomed Symoné, and Whoopi Goldberg, one of the show’s hosts, commended her appearance and asked if she still painted; she still does.

They all further talked about her time on the show, and she introduced Maday to viewers by saying, “This is my wife, this is Miranda.” The social media manager waved excitedly to viewers with a beaming smile.

Another host recalled that the award-winning actress wanted to focus on her health by eating differently last year. She wanted to know what made the notable guest wish to change as she looked pretty great.

Symoné stated that her wife was the reason behind the decision, as she wanted to be around her love for as long as she could.

She admitted to being addicted to sugar in all forms, and with Maday’s “help, guidance, love, and fantastic cooking skills,” she helped her “kick sugar.”

The NAACP Image Awards recipient does not eat carbs anymore as she only consumes whole foods and keto-friendly cookies.

She also took up fasting, and all her new healthy practices made her lose a significant amount of weight which she revealed onscreen.

Symoné said, "When I entered this show, and I started Raven Baxter, ‘Raven’s Home,’ I was 210 pounds; I am now 170.” Such weight loss was remarkable, and she was able to achieve that without exercise.

The presenters moved on to talk about marriage life, asking Maday what it was like with her spouse as they got married during the pandemic.

It was a pretty interesting time for the couple as they were quarantined together, and Symoné was able to put a hold on her work which enabled them to focus and prioritize themselves.

The subject led to more talk about their YouTube series and the success of “Raven’s Home.” The pair started their online series during the pandemic to be involved in something creative and fun.

The Atlanta native further talked about the success of “Raven’s Home” and based it on her willingness to be her authentic self, thanks to Maday, who positively changed her perspective.

As The Blast shared last August, Symoné expressed worry about the black society being against her marriage to a white wife, which led to their brief breakup.

However, she got over the negative thoughts and said she allowed her insecurities to get the best of her. Maday did not know the singer-songwriter felt that way as she suffered in silence.

They both reconciled, and the loving spouse helped Symoné with her communication as she was terrible at it. She also moved forward with the relationship without caring about people’s opinions.

The “That’s So Raven” Star Talks About Going Public With Her Same-Sex Union

Following Symoné’s secret marriage to Maday in June 2020, they talked to ET’s Deidre Behar on “Celebrity Game Face” about marriage and going public about their union.

The Blast shared that the 36-year-old took her time to decide if sharing her relationship was the right move as she was a private person.

She said, “We are not ignorant to the fact that when something so big comes out – especially for me, who has been private with their life and their dating life for so long – we were prepared.”

However, the lovers were not prepared for how quickly the news spread and the number of people that showed love. They were pretty surprised and expressed gratitude for all the love they were shown.

Symoné and Maday were lucky to have such an experience as it was fun, but they were also smart about keeping their private matters private, shrewdly choosing what they wanted to share.
