Their son Cruz discovered the burglary at the Beckham’s home as he returned home from a night out with his friends. He noticed that a guest bedroom had been ransacked and that there was glass from the broken window all over the floor.

Cruz immediately alerted his father, who called the police while they searched the home to ensure the burglar wasn’t still inside. The invader was gone, along with several designer goods and electric appliances. Police are yet to determine if it was one persona or a team that broke in.

A source revealed to The Sun that the police are analyzing the CCTV footage of that night and that “the footage is said to show the intruder clambering over the gate at the front of the house. He then shimmied up the house and broke in through the window of a spare bedroom.

The source also revealed that 46-year-old David and 47-year-old Victoria are also very shaken up over the incident. It is another incident to add to their history of stalkers and kidnap threats.

Another source said, Sadly, the Beckhams were the victims of some fairly professional thieves who have been operating in the area. Fortunately, the criminals only made it as far as one of the bedrooms before they ran off.”

What makes the incident scary is that David, Victoria, and Harper were in the home and that the invasion could have been violent. The house is where the couple spends most of their time with Cruz and Harper, so it was truly a close call. They bought the mansion in 2013 for £31million.

The Beckhams are the latest in a line of celebrity victims whose homes in the West London enclave have been targeted. The exclusive neighborhood is home to many celebrities, including Robbie Williams, Elton John, Prince William, and Duchess Kate Middleton.

Two more houses very close to the Beckhams’ home were targeted, but the first was empty while the burglar could not access the second. The Metropolitan Police have released a statement that they are investigating the incident and have yet to determine if it was a sole burglar or a team.

Asides from the London home, The Beckhams also own a Cotswolds estate worth £6million. They were forced to increase the estate’s security and install two 24/7 security guards after two break-ins. They also have some property in Dubai and an apartment in Miami, where their son, Romeo, is located.

The couple has since ordered a review of the security at their London home in the wake of the break-in. A forensic examination of the house also took place the day after the robbery.

The break-in comes as a woman awaits trial for stalking charges by David. He alleges that she has been stalking him and the family since 2016. She reportedly showed up at Harper’s school and their London home and will stand trial this July.
