He wrote, “This was Taylor Hawkins' last text to me: ‘Ya We’ve yet to fully have a hang -Got a put that s**t together before we die.’ Wise words from my friend- put that s**t together! I'm so f**king sad. Another one gone too soon.”
Hawkins’ death comes a little over two months after Stamos’ other friend, Bob Saget, died unexpectedly.
Bob Saget Spoke About Death With Stamos Before His Passing
In the days following Saget’s death, Stamos shared details of their last hangout together.
Stamos revealed he last hung out with Saget one month before his death.
The BFFs went on a double date with their wives, Caitlin McHugh and Kelly Rizzo.
"Bob was always worried about everyone else, but he talked about death a lot. His wife, Kelly Rizzo, said she had a premonition. I didn't see it. The last time we were all together, we went on a double date to Nobu, maybe a month before he passed away," Stamos said.
The actor continued explaining that Saget never looked like a guy who was “going to die.”
“He was very calm, which was odd for Bob," Stamos continued. "He was at peace somehow. And he listened and he was thoughtful and didn't interrupt; he cared about what we were saying. I hate to say it, but it was the Bob that I always wanted to see. And it was the last time I saw him."
Both Saget and Hawkins spoke about death in their final interactions with Stamos. The similarities are eerie to say the very least.
