Actress Zoë Kravitz had some harsh words for Will Smith after he slapped Chris Rock at Sunday night’s Oscar Ceremony. Rock had made fun of Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smithand her struggle with alopecia, an auto-immune disease that causes hair loss.
Although Kravitz was not afraid to call Smith out, many started turning on Kravitz for some not-so-great moments that she’s had herself.

On Monday night, Kravitz posted two pictures of herself on Instagram. In the first, she is shown wearing a pink strapless dress and a string of pearls that she wore for the 94th annual Academy Awards ceremony.
“Here’s a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now,” she wrote in the caption.
She later followed it up with a long-sleeve white gown that she wore to the Vanity Fair after party.

However, both captions were filled with fans calling out her friendship with fashion designer Alexander Wang.
“Alexander Wang was your wedding dress designer, and you dedicate a birthday post to him every year…” one user wrote.
“Yet you’re besties with Alexander Wang,” another pointed out. “Do better.”

In 2012, Wang was the subject of a sweatshop allegation lawsuit where workers claimed that they had passed out after being forced to work days at a time without breaks or adequate compensation. The lawsuit was dropped after Wang reached a settlement out of court for undisclosed terms.
In December 2020, the fashion industry whistleblower account DietPrada and the modeling industry watchdog account S--- Model Management both began publishing posts on Instagram and compiling lists of people who claimed that Wang had sexually assaulted them.
One such person was male model Owen Mooney, who came forward to allege that he had been groped by Wang at a nightclub in New York City in 2017. Many others came forward to share similar stories. DJ Nick Ward also claimed that he had been groped by Wang at a NYC nightclub in 2017. Others claimed that Wang had drugged them without their knowledge or consent. Several trans women claimed that they were groped or had their private parts exposed by Wang as well.

Representatives for Wang released a statement on social media on December 31, 2020, saying that they intended to “hold accountable whoever is responsible for originating these claims and viciously spreading them online.”
The following day, The Guardian published even more allegations, including one from transgender model and actor Gia Garison. Wang has continued to deny all of the “grotesquely false” allegations against him.
However, that is not the only thing that fans are holding against Kravitz.

Many fans said that Kravitz was only angry at Will Smith due to her personal history with the Smith family and reposted a tweet from an old interview, where Kravitz makes unsettling comments about Will Smith’s son, Jaden.
“zoe kravitz just mad at will smith for telling her to stay away from his son that's why she said all that,” one fan tweeted.
The comments were made during an interview with V Magazine for their June 2013 issue.
“Even more awesome for Zoe was spending time with the Smith clan when the cameras weren’t rolling. ‘There were moments that I was hanging out with Jaden and thinking, ‘I can’t believe you’re 14, I have to check myself, like what I say to you,’” she laughs. “He has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he’s so handsome, I was always like, ‘When you’re older, you know, we’ll hang out… Nope, that’s inappropriate, you’re 14.’”
