Kelly Clarkson's Name Legally Changed To 'Kelly Brianne' In Time For 40th Birthday!

Kelly Clarkson is getting ready to turn 40-years-old and will be considered “over the hill.”
However, age is just a number for the singer, and she is very excited to turn another year older and wiser.
This birthday, Clarkson has a lot to celebrate like her name officially being changed to “Kelly Brianne.”

In legal documents obtained by The Blast, the ‘Voice’ coach’s desire to legally change her name to “Kelly Brianne” has been granted!
The singer’s full legal name is Kelly Brianne Clarkson, but it has been legally changed to just Kelly Brianne. It became official in the a Superior Court of California on March 28th.

The legal document also states, “The court adopts its tentative ruling as the Order of the Court as follows: There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted. The Decree. Is signed and filed. The Petitioner’s name is changed from Kelly Brianne Clarkson to Kelly Brianne.”
The Blast broke the news last month that the "American Idol" alum wanted to legally change her name following her divorce from Brandon Blackstock.
When filing to legally change her name, Clarkson had to give an reason for the name change.
In previous court documents obtained by us, she wrote, “My new name more fully reflects who I am.”

The form was initially filed on February 14th – Valentine’s Day – so it looks like Kelly wants to spend the new year focusing on some self-love.
Speaking of self-love, Clarkson is fully prepared to shower herself with self-love come April 24, her birthdate.
While speaking to People (The TV Show!) on the “America Song Contest” red carpet on Monday night, the songstress dished on the upcoming celebration.
Kelly's Unfazed By Turning 40-Years-Old
When it comes to turning 40, Clarkson is stronger than ever.
"I'm not concerned about it," the singer said. "My life gets exponentially better each year. Which is what should happen, you should get wiser."
She continued, "I'm really excited. Everything's in a good place now."
Given the monumental birthday, the “Kelly Clarkson Show” host is ready to do a “whole thing.”
"I was gonna go low key and then, I just had a really fun time with my girlfriends in San Francisco," she said. "So, I'm like, maybe I'll do that again."
Her current work schedule is packed to the brim, so an extended vacation to somewhere tropical just isn’t in the cards right now.
In 2022 alone, Clarkson has legally changed her name, settled her divorce and debuted a new TV show.
Earlier this month, the singer and her estranged husband, Blackstock, settled their divorce with the mother-of-two agreeing to vaccinate their children against COVID-19.
According to the agreement, Clarkson will pay Blackstock a massive one-time payment, and ongoing child support. On a monthly basis, she will pay her ex-husband child support for the couple’s two children — River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5.
Clarkson began paying Blackstock a total of $45,601 per month, for both children, on February 1.
