It’s been nearly 48-hours since the 94th Academy Awards aired and the world got a front row seat to Will Smith’s beef with Chris Rock.
On Sunday, March 27, the new Oscar winner stormed the stage while Rock was presenting.
Prior to storming the stage, the comedian told a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, which she did not find humorous at all.
Jada's Face Says It All!
Rock considered it a “nice one [joke]” and nothing too below the belt, but the Smith’s felt differently.
Within seconds of telling the joke, Smith rushing the stage.
What happened next is something nobody could’ve imagined.
Smith slapped Rock right across the face and proceeded to scream at him to keep his and his wife’s name out of his f**king mouth.
It’s been the only talk of social media since, but now fans are turning their attention to the Grammys.
The Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, April 3, in Las Vegas, NV. They were originally set to take place in January, but due to COVID restrictions in Los Angeles, CA. the music awards ceremony had to be postponed.
Many on Twitter are wondering what mayhem Kanye West could potentially cause given his public beef with Pete Davidson.
The ‘SNL’ cast member is dating the rapper’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
Will Kanye West Pull A "Will Smith" On Pete Davidson?
Since the beginning of 2022, Kanye has made it his mission to publicly smear Davidson’s name.
Kanye threatened Davidson’s life on multiple occasions through his music and music videos.
One person tweeted, “Poor Kanye, first Pete Davidson takes his wife, and now Will Smith takes his spot as the greatest award show interruption of all time.”
This is clearly a nod to Ye’s infamous “Imma let you finish but…” interruption during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs.

“Kanye gonna post an image of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock with him photoshopped as Will and Pete Davidson as Chris on his Instagram, I’m calling it now,” one fan tweeted.
One person suggested Pete host the Grammys writing, “We need Pete Davidson hosting the Grammys with Kanye sitting in the front row.”
"Pete Davidson hosting the Grammys after what went down at the Oscars would be ultimate chaos. This has to happen," an eager fan put out into the universe.
“Kanye can’t wait for the Grammys, he still gonna show up. Pete Davidson and DL Hughley, better be on the lookout,” some wrote alongside a photoshopped picture of Kanye creeping from behind a tree.

Speaking of DL Hughley, the comedian took to Twitter on Sunday after the “slap heard round the world” went down and tweeted, “Wow!! And I thought me and #Kanye had beef!”
The Blast previously reported on DL and Kanye’s Instagram/Twitter war of words with one another.
Earlier this month, before Kanye was suspended from Instagram for 24-hours and decided to not return to the platform, he was posting like a mad man, literally and figuratively.
Hughley took to Twitter on Wednesday, March 16, to share his thoughts on KimYe’s continued divorce/custody drama.
He started out his rant writing, “#Ye is at it again huh?? Welp at least I wasn’t crying on the phone about how big Pete’s Peter Is! If you want her back instead acting up why don’t you try doing some dick ups! #TeamDL.”

Hughley further his blows below the belt writing, “#Kanye do you know how horrible you gotta be to make a #Kardashian date a white man! #TeamDL.”
Earlier in the day, Kanye posted a photo of Hughley in a green camouflage jacket, tan hat, ripped blue jeans and a graphic T-shirt.
He captioned it, “This grown a** man picked this outfit out himself. Is he influential or under the influence???”
Hughley replied, “#Kanye how dare you talk about the way someone dresses, look at you!! All those people in your head and not one of em got a Macys card.”
The rapper doubled down with another Instagram post about Hughley writing, “Funny thing is we’ll probably end up being friends… I used to defend this n***a back when he had work…. Like nah he funny … you just gotta watch it 1 trillion more times to get it.”
Hughley retaliated, “#Kanye ain’t it funny you can explain my jokes, but not your behavior.”
Kanye has since deleted all of his posts from his Instagram account.
