Let's face it: As much fun as binging episodes of our favorite reality TV shows on a cozy afternoon, it's sometimes easy to forget how bonkers reality TV can be for those involved behind-the-scenes.
Especially if you're a contestant on one of the biggest reality TV franchises in history!

Connor Brennan, or more affectionately known by fans of "The Bachelor" franchise as Connor B. or 'Connor The Cat,' recently took to Twitter to vulnerably express his thoughts on the more complicated side of being a public figure looking for love on such a wildly popular reality show.
Brennan charmed viewers and cleverly stood out from the rest of the men on Katie Thurston's season of "The Bachelorette" by not being afraid to show off his quirky and creative side.
He memorably stepped out of the limo wearing a cat suit to greet Thurston on the first night in the Bachelor mansion!
Brennan may not have found love with Thurston or was able to find his person on the beach in Mexico during his time on "Bachelor In Paradise," but he's surely won some hearts in Bachelor Nation through his perfectly witty social media activity and most recently his willingness to speak candidly about the more negative aspects of being a public figure.
A Rose For Getting Real

Last night Brennan responded to recent rumors swirling around Bachelor Nation he would be returning to the Bachelor mansion for the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette," and he did not hold back expressing his feelings.
reality steve drops a dumbass rumor that i’m going back on bachelorette and suddenly i’m flooded with the meanest things anyone has ever said about me and a great reminder why i wouldn’t go back on the show

He began his Twitter thread by tweeting "reality steve drops a dumba** rumor that I'm going back on 'bachelorette' and suddenly I'm flooded with the meanest things anyone has ever said about me and a great reminder of why I wouldn't go back on the show."
After fans of Bachelor Nation quickly came to his defense, Brennan expressed the positive aspects he feels going through the 'Bachelor' franchise to find true love.
He added in a separate tweet, "so before you judge someone or say mean sh*t about going on a tv show to find love, is that so much worse than dating today? in a lot of significant ways i think it's better than dm slides and dating apps. regardless there's a way to enjoy the shows without being cruel. try it"

An interesting plot twist in the saga of Connor B.'s 'whereabouts'?
He would not be available to return to the mansion for "The Bachelorette's" upcoming season because he is currently busy with a few of his fellow 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' alums as part of "The Bachelor Live On Stage tour."
Brennan can be seen in Tiktoks posted by the tour's host Becca Kufrin!
He joins James Bonsall, Ivan Hall, Justin Glaze, Rick Leach, Rodney Mathews, and Andrew Spencer live on stage for a recreation of the full 'Bachelor' experience!
As an added bonus, fans who attend a show will have the chance to interact with the cast, according to the official site of "The Bachelor Live On Stage."
We raise a glass to Connor B. for prioritizing and sharing his vulnerability, whether it be on social media or with the aid of a ukulele in a heartfelt song!
