Almost a decade ago, the widely regarded English actor Daniel Radcliffe began his relationship with American actress Erin Darke.

The couple initially met on the set of "Kill Your Darlings" and have been together ever since while still being separately featured in numerous other productions.

The year has been pretty awesome for Radcliffe as he recently shared a few details about his professional and love life, which seems as tight-knit as ever.

The 32-year-old renowned actor had a chat with PEOPLE and told them where he was in life, saying he was in a great place personally and professionally.

He mentioned that he had a great life and has been in a happy place with Darke for pretty much a decade. He also talked a bit about a few of his ongoing and concluding projects. Radcliffe said:

"I just got to make the ‘Weird Al’ movie, which is honestly one of the most pleasurable, exciting experiences in my career. I’m doing the last season of ‘Miracle Workers’ this year and then another Broadway show."

He concluded the statement to acknowledge how good the year was and expressed happiness for the way everything was going so far.

"Miracle Workers" also featured Radcliffe's girlfriend in a 2021 episode, and he revealed that they both liked working together but did not want it to be often. Nevertheless, he hoped they would have a writing collaboration soon. The "Harry Potter" star stated:

"We obviously met on film and so getting to do stuff on ‘Miracle Workers’ with her last year was incredibly special and felt lovely. Hopefully, we’ll get to do more in the future, but we also both write, so maybe we’d write something together at some point, and that would be cool."

Radcliffe further talked about his role in the new adventure comedy "The Lost City," which features co-star Sandra Bullock. He said Darke was a huge fan, and he believed the movie might be one of her favorites of his works.

Before starring in the production, his lover declared that he had to take the role, especially when she heard Channing Tatum and Bullock would be in it.

The performer acted as a villain in the movie who kidnapped Bullock's character, believing that she could help find a lost treasure.

He said about the role, "It's incredibly fun to play a villain that's like, his motivations are very endearingly human. He just wants to impress his dad so much and be liked in a very sort of desperate way."

Radcliffe went on to say there was something funny about a male individual who kidnapped someone and then became convinced that they were going to enjoy it. That was a pretty entertaining feature for the star.

Unfortunately for him, he had no screen time with Brad Pitt and never got to meet him in any scene. He revealed that all the women in his life were livid that he did not get to see the legend.

However, he could proudly say he was in a film with Bullock, Tatum, and Pitt, which was pretty cool. "The Lost City" will be released to theaters on March 25.

Radcliffe always regards his features on all productions highly as he previously mentioned in The Blast's report that his role as Yankovic in "Weird Al" was a big responsibility.

The lead star told PEOPLE that he was honored to finally tell the true story of Weird Al's immoral and dishonorable life.

The "Imperium" Star Will Not Be Returning In Any "Harry Potter" Adaptation

The Blast recently reported that Radcliffe had no plans to return to the "Harry Potter" franchise as he admitted it was not something he was interested in doing.

This came about after the 20th anniversary of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," whereby the director, Chris Columbus, came up with adapting the stage play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" into a movie.

The adaptation would require Radcliffe and several other cast members to return, but the production may not happen if the lead role is not onboard.

The award-winning actor stated of his reprise, "I'm getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of Potter OK, and I'm really happy where I am now, and to go back would be such a massive change to my life."
