'Vanderpump Rules' star Katie Maloney has officially filed for divorce from co-star, Tom Schwartz, after 12 years of marriage.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Maloney filed for dissolution of marriage in the Los Angeles County Court system. In the filing, Katie listed "irreconcilable differences" as the legal cause of their split.
The document is shocking, considering the former couple was spotted over the weekend together, giving many reality star fans hope they had reconciled. The TV stars reportedly got married in 2106, after filing for a marriage license in Las Vegas, Nevada. Interestingly, the couple was together at an earlier date, but never actually filed the paperwork, so they took a trip to Sin City with friends to make it official.

It should be noted, our sources say, Tom was spotted out in Long Beach, California still wearing his wedding ring. Plus, the former couple was also spotted dining together on Saturday night at Mister O's in Studio City.
The couple just lived through a very public breakup with Katie opening up about the situation on her podcast, 'You're Gonna Love Me.'
"I know [for] some people [it] may seem like a shock, or it may seem like an abrupt thing, but for us, it's not like we just decided this week or yesterday or the day before," she said.
Adding, "There wasn't some kind of crazy incident that happened, there wasn't some crazy fight that resulted in this," she continued, speaking through tears. "It was my decision, which was probably the hardest and most painful decision I've ever had to make."

She continued, "The best and only way I can describe it is just like waking up inside of my life and having this voice that just became louder and louder, and just events in my life and our relationship coming into focus and feeling the weight of them on me."
Shockingly, Katie admitted the ex-couple is still living together in Los Angeles, and are figuring out their new way of life. "We do still live together in our house, and we're just trying to navigate these steps together and really work on becoming friends in that sense."
Katie Maloney Pulls Trigger On Divorce, 'I Knew It Would Crush Him'
Tom confirmed the split on his own Instagram, saying, "Well this sucks. How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in an f--kin canned Instagram caption. I’m not quite ready to use the ‘D-word bc it’s too painful. Yes, my heart aches but I’ll be ok."
In the end, Katie made the decision to pull the trigger on filing legal documents to legally end their marriage, and it appears she was the one pushing it the entire time.
"It was the hardest, hardest thing to do," she said. Adding, "The hardest thing to tell him, because I knew it was gonna crush him."
On the bright side, the break-up and divorce case will make for really good reality television.
