Lala Kent Reveals Special Gift She Got Daughter Ocean For Her 1st Birthday

Lala Kent is a proud mother to one-year-old Ocean Kent Emmett, who recently celebrated her first milestone with her mom. 

The doting mother organized a pre-birthday party ahead of the main celebration on March 15. Friends and family joined the duo to have a good time and celebrate Ocean.

In celebration of the one-year-old’s birthday, Lala got her baby girl a special gift which she revealed on her Instagram story.

The 31-year-old reality star has a thing for bags, and she decided to give Ocean the perfect first bag for her first birthday. 

The entrepreneur got her daughter a black and gold Louis Vuitton mini-bag, which the mini-human clutched in the snap. She could be seen standing on a neutral-colored couch, wearing black headwear and a cream outfit. Lala wrote:

"I know a lot of you are going to think I’m nuts, but hear me out. I really have a love for bags. My grandmother passed a lot of hers onto me, and I will one day pass them on to O."

She continued, “For my baby girls first birthday, I wanted to get her her first bag. So here she is with it, decked in @givethemlalababy,” [sic] followed with a black heart emoji.

The following story post showed Lala carrying Ocean, and both of them sported twin Louis Vuitton bags. The mother called her baby her little twin and tagged “givethemlalababy” on the post.

The picture appeared to have been taken in a well-lit space with neutral décor, which matched the earth-toned outfit of the “Vanderpump Rules” star.

Prior to the gift revelation, Lala shared a couple of photos detailing Ocean’s pre-birthday celebration. She also tagged the people and brands involved in making the day successful.

The snaps showed every feature of the event, from the celebrant with her mom to the venue, gift items, and edibles.

Lala stated in the caption, “I’m still dying over Ocean’s Birthday party. I’ve gotten A LOT of messages asking about everything. So here are some pictures, and you can find the contacts below.”

The contacts referred to the people and brands she tagged, including the photographers, party planners, stylists, florists, decorators, merch creators, and refreshment handlers.

She ended the caption by tagging TV show creator Jax Taylor, his wife Brittany Cartwright, and their child Cruz Michael Cauchi for helping with the venue, which was their house.

The first two slides of the posts captured Lala wearing a black ensemble while Ocean wore a colorful two-piece mermaid getup. 

The third and fourth slides revealed the multicolored balloon-decorated venue with seashells and other ocean-themed decorations. The fourth slide showed a white bouncing house with other similarly colored play features.

Several customized merch had either Ocean’s name or her cute beaming face on them. Among the products were a wagon, t-shirts, vests, caps, and gift bags.

The penultimate slide showed a forty-one seconds video of the venue, including the ocean-themed merch and some snacks with drinks in a sectioned container floating in the pool.

The last image of the carousel was one of Ocean grinning at the camera and putting on a white ocean-themed shirt with jeans. She also wore her birthday hat and held a colorful play tool.

Numerous fans of the mother-daughter duo, including celebrities, reacted to the adorable photos by showering the post with likes.

Leah McSweeney gushed at the wagon merch and jokingly begged Lala to help with her 40th birthday plan. On the other hand, Erin Lim Rhodes wished the actress and her daughter a happy birthday.

Raquel Leviss, Lauryn Bosstick, Tatiana Mityushina, and several other supporters commended the event, the planners, and Lala for being an amazing mom.

The Blast recently reported that Lala's ex-lover and Ocean’s dad Randall Emmett did not attend his daughter’s celebration. However, the pair did not seem bothered as they made the best of the special day.

The media personality also revealed that she does not plan to bear more kids, and if she ends up having more kids, no man would be part of the equation. 

She prioritizes caring for Ocean, and she prepared for the day the youngster would ask about her and Randall’s split. The former couple separated last October due to cheating claims.

Lala planned to “have an open conversation” with Ocean at the right time, whereby she would explain everything about the split. 

As a loving mother, she did not want her child to go through the same painful experience she had after hearing about her ex-partner’s cheating.
