2022 Writers Guild Awards - Full Winners List

The 2022 Writers Guild Awards was held on Sunday night, bestowing awards to the best writers across television and TV.
Adam McKay’s climate change parody “Don’t Look Up” took home original screenplay, while “CODA” took home Adapted Screenplay. In television, both “Hacks” and “Succession” won twice.
The virtual ceremony, which was hosted by Ashley Nicole Black, also gave out honorary awards. Barry Jenkins received the WGAW’s Paul Selvin Award for Amazon’s “The Underground Railroad.” Late-night icon Dick Cavett was given the WGAE’s Evelyn F. Burkey Award, which is given for scripts that have brought honor and dignity to writers everywhere.
