It seems like Julia Fox just wants to move on from the brief fling she had with Kanye West earlier this year.

Fox dated Ye before he finalized his divorce from his ex, Kim Kardashian, who has since moved on with “Saturday Night Live” comedian Pete Davidson. The Donda rapper has been calling Pete – who he has dubbed “Skete” – out on Instagram and his increasingly graphic animated “Eazy” music videos. On Wednesday, Ye was suspended from Instagram for 24 hours due to his troubling social media posts.

A TMZ reporter caught up to Julia Fox while she was leaving a workout at Barry’s Bootcamp in WeHo and asked her about the drama concerning her recent ex. During the interview, she said that Ye wouldn't hurt a fly, but it appears that she's now walking back those comments.

When asked about his recent social media threats, Julia seemed to dismiss any notions that Ye was capable of real violence, saying, “Kanye is harmless.”

“I just think that’s his artistic, creative expression,” she continued. “I know it’s aggressive and… but I really don’t [think he’d hurt anyone]. I think that if it really came down to it… I don’t think Kanye would hurt a fly and that’s all I have to say.”

When asked if Kanye could potentially be a harm to himself, Fox replied, “I’m not really sure.”

“I’ll give him a call and I’ll find out,” she added.

When asked if she was looking to date anyone new, Fox replied, “No, but this is a public appeal to anyone that wants to date me. I’m single and my DMs are open.”

A few days later, Fox cleared up the confusion by claiming that they thought the TMZ reporter was asking her about the music videos and was not aware of the Instagram posts that led to his social media ban.

In a since-deleted post, the “Uncut Gems” star addressed the recent stir that her comments have been making. “I thought this question was in reference to the music video,” she explained. “Yeah I could just not answer questions but then it would be ‘Julia is mad she salty’ etc and I’m not!” she wrote. “It’s a real catch 22 so please stop F’n asking me!”

“I would like to point out that I had not seen the latest Instagram posts at the time of this video,” she continued. “Believe it or not I have a life and a son, and I don’t have google alerts for this man!”

“I wish I had the answers, but I do not,” she added. “I would like to remain an Indie Queen. The mainstream life isn’t for me.”

Last Sunday, Kanye was pretty upset to find his daughter North singing on TikTok. Ye has been pretty vocal in the past about now allowing his kids - who are still minors - to perform on TikTok without his permission.

Ye then seemed to shift gears and took aim at actor, author, and stand-up comedian D.L. Hughley, who has criticized Ye in the past. Ye called him a pawn and then followed it up with a concerning threat. “Yeah I know a king not supposed to address a pawn but I address everything and find addresses,” he warned. “So don’t speak on me or my children I can afford to hurt u.”

On Tuesday night, Trevor Noah called Ye out for his “harassing” behavior towards Kim.

“What we’re seeing here is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her,” Noah said Tuesday night on “The Daily Show.”

Ye responded on Wednesday morning by calling the South African comedian a series of racial slurs, which is what led to his 24-hour suspension. Shortly after, The Blast broke the story that the Grammy Awards - which Noah is hosting - had banned Kanye from performing due to his “online behavior.”
