Rapper Kanye West wants to control his own narrative.
On Sunday, he shared a The Blast exclusive article regarding the text messages that “Saturday Night Live” comedian Pete Davidson sent him about sleeping with Ye’s ex, Kim Kardashian. Although Ye shared the comment without a caption, it’s clear that Kanye is not happy with the way the media seems to be favoring Skete’s side.
His reposting of the article has gotten over 3.8K Facebook reactions, over a thousand comments, and close to 300 shares. Here’s a look at what some of his fans had to say!
Kanye West Supporters Feel Fathers Are Painted ‘To Be The Bad One’
Songwriter and producer T.Dot Music has the top comment, saying that Ye is “speaking for dads across the world!”
“Do you know how many men go through this on a smaller scale!” he added. “Mums wanting to control the narrative and paint dads out to be the bad one.”
“You see why some of these fathers just quit. It’s too much stress on everybody trying to continue being the father once the marriage falls apart,” another commented. “Ye not crazy. He’s not allowing himself to be painted as an absentee father by choice.”
“Finally! An article that frames this for what it is instead of cherry-picking quotes and making Ye the bad guy,” one fan wrote in the comments.
‘He Wants His Children In His Life’
“If you don’t like Ye then you will never see his vision. He wants his children in his life. And he wants to create his own narrative of himself and stop letting media control his thoughts,” another wrote. “Nothing about that sounds crazy!”
“Single fathers go through this all the time. It is nothing new,” another commented. “I am just glad it is getting the publicity. Fathers are always expected to be quiet and get back in their foxholes lol. Everything is the man’s fault at the end of the day in society’s eyes. The end.”
“It is kinda hard to see the one you love go but you don’t have to keep fighting to earn the person’s love again when he/she doesn’t want you again. Kayne, you have to always find a way to get the trust and love of the kids you have with her,” another wrote. “Your kid’s love and trust should be your priority, not Kim. You will find true and genuine love again bro. Move on buddy! I wish you all the best!!”
Kanye West Fans Are Hoping Things Go Well For Their Four Kids!
The “Donda” rapper shared four children with Kim and many fans are hoping that they can both put their drama on the side to focus on what is best for their children.
“I am so praying for you. Please find a way to get along with those people. Think of the long-term relationships with your kids. When others are controlling the narrative it will never be in your best interest. Do everything in a decent and orderly fashion. God bless you.”
“Pete needs to mind his own business when it comes to their children,” another shared. “He has no say in the matter! He is nothing to those kids. He needs to learn his place as the rebound.”
‘Despite Being A Celebrity, He Is A Human Too’
“If you watch Ye’s Documentary by Coodie on Netflix, you will comprehend that Ye was a workaholic making beats and trying to succeed all day long because he came from nothing,” another commented. “He wasn’t having time to date and his mama was the love of his life. if he did then and got the experience of breakups as a young Lad – he wouldn’t have gotten this kind of emotional quagmire.”
“What we are seeing displaying in front of the world is a grown-up man that is experiencing his first break up between a wife he loved so much more and the mother of his kids underway battling with the loss of his mother at the same time,” they continued. “Kanye hasn’t mental issues – he is complicated though and his Love and mama that was keeping him alive are both gone, he is just reacting based on how he feels and we have no right to judge him.”
“Despite being a celebrity, he is a human too – he bleeds and feels pain like the rest of us,” they added.
